When we over pay we always say the market is inflated and that's just what players cost these days

When we undersell we say the player was never that good anyway.

Just so much coping and delusion which makes me think of something:

Many years ago a member here who I can't remember the name of said something along the lines of

"the thing about being raped over had over again is that after a while you tend to forget you have a dick in your ass"

Waiting for him to be flipped for €50,000,000 to Madrid or Barçelona next season.

This board is so braindead.
I doubt he'll ever be sold for over 15m.
For years we've been selling u-23 players and in the vast majority of cases they never reached that valuation again. It happened with Huijsen and now we tend to mirror the same fear into every young player.
Neither history, nor Savona's quality suggest that we made a mistake here.

This is a pathetic mercato, but Savona's sale for 13+2.5 doesn't make it more pathetic. For me it's the same as selling Iling Jr. for 14m. Neither good nor bad.

His participation in the attack phase makes him unique in the team work, surely in a dynamic tactic and a well oiled system can capitalize on his strengths particularly in crossing on the flank. He may not be at the level of the top clubs, but he is good enough to be used in a number of positions. I feel we did not take full advantage of his ball-carrying ability from the wings and his defensive capabilities and he was overlooked due to the tactical weakness of the coaches.
Next year, I predict he will play for one of the following clubs: Arsenal, Dortmund, Tottenham, Atletico Madrid, Aston Villa, Newcastle or Napoli.
