Flashback #Rovella: #Juventus tried to bring back earlier the midfielder (2001) to Turin in Jan, but Genoa blocked the move, asking for the player to stay till the end of the season because he is important to avoid relegation. Juve are waiting for him with patience: Rovella will be part of the bianconero midfield of the future next to #Locatelli and #Fagioli.

Rovella is why I don’t believe the stories that they’re looking externally for a regista. A guy like Jorginho doesn’t even fit the timeline of the project. We haven’t bought any 30 year olds in years. Rovella is ready to make the jump to a big club.

its actually good he stayed there imo. Will get even more serie A experience and probably wouldnt play much for us this second half of the season.

I've seen more than enough to be convinced. He will need to bulk up a bit and hopefully manages to handle the pressure of the shirt. Otherwise he's almost ready, as a regista he'll do well.

What was the last talent that broke through the ranks for us and made it? Marchisio? Kean we didn't really raise.
immobile is a homegrown player for juve. rugani also qualifies as a hg for the league, not for the cl though. rovella isn't a hg for juve; fagioli is.

if you put regulations aside and only consider those who started their youth career with us, the last juve primavera guys who made it to the juve first team and could be considered as regulars were marchisio, kean and giovinco, with marchisio being the only memorable player for juve. not a lot to be honest.

Rovella is 20 years old. The clubc an sign a regista like Jorginho and ease Rovella into the team.

It is tricky to think that Allegri will simply give a full starter role in the center of the team to a 20 year old that just arrived to Juve. He will probably rotate a lot, with Locatelli, Arthur, or a new player.

He was starting in serie A as a teenager and carrying Genoa’s midfield, I don’t see why he couldn’t start at Juve. Itsthe next step in his progression. Allegri doesn’t trust Arthur at all and I don’t think he wants Loca at regista either. Jorginho is too old, can’t see him being a target when management has only talked and bought youth the last two years.

I'm all about giving the responsibility to Rovella, it just seems unlikely with Allegri and while he looks great, he isn't a top player (yet?). If the management wants to get a better, older midfielder to pair with the 20 year old it would make sense.

Shameful record
