In disregard to the overhyping and the over-dismissal comments on the kid (both stemming from heart break and despair) he is a good quick passer, smart on the ball, can dribble with ease and his movement is good but can get better.
On the negative side he is not very pacy and seems suspect defensively.

Looking good. How come Pirlo have tried so many youngster with some questionable level this season and it took so long to give a chance to Fagioli? Fix your mistake ASAP please
Besides an early season injury, probably because the club values Fagioli’s development more than say a Frabotta or Portanova. I think there’s a similar situation with Correia. It’s not that he's not good enough to play at this level, it’s that once he’s up they wanna make sure he stays up and there aren’t any skipped steps.

he did more forward passes than rabiot betan and makeni in the game vs porto.

But really, this guy is totally the opposite of our midfielders... no fukin useless backpassing or sideways pass to cuads.... almost all his passes were forward

that was faptastic.

And obvs he looked sharp and cool in his debut. I liked it
