So we said he was available for transfer but no one wants him or wants to pay the fee we want for him?
Nobody is going to pay at least the 30 mill we need to avoid a loss on him. I have no doubts Madrid will argue Molina is worth a similar amount and will try and do a swap, minimal financial gains on our part.

I still think he's a good player too but you need a few things to fall into place when you sign anyone. If a player isn't fit for parts of the season then that's a key issue right off the bat.
But my question is why isn’t he fit? Why are Luiz, Nico, milik, cambiaso, dusan always injured? Is it because the medical and training staff are incompetent? Or maybe they are fraudsters? Would this even be a surprise if we look at history of juve?

Don’t worry Dai, they’ll all have an entire productive injury-free season as soon as they leave. :max:
and their value will quadruple :agnelli:

Atleti just sold Samuel Lino for €22m to Flamengo. Pool just sold Ben Doak (RW) with only 3 goals in Championship for £25m. €30m valuation for him should be still good.

Made assist for Jonathan David goal against Atalanta

Nico played most of last night friendly, to me that suggests negotiations as it stands with Atleti is not as advanced as initially thought.

I get the feeling that in Nico's case he really wanted/wants to succeed here. He seems to be too much in his head about proving himself, which makes his decision making poor. Technically he is one of our better players. His injury record will always be an issue though.

I would only sell if we could recoup (close to) what we need to avoid a loss, otherwise just keep. Especially if the only plan would be to replace him with Sancho last minute.

Some things need to fall in place in our favour for this season to be somewhat of a success. Bremer being fit is the most important one, but players like Nico (if he stays) and Koop having the impact we expected in their first season would be a boost as well. Wishful thinking, but that is the situation we are in.

This also applies/applied to Vlahovic and Koop.

Libero | Atlético Madrid has submitted its offer to Juventus for Nico González on loan with a mandatory purchase for 20 million euros
lol 20 mill... GTFO can't be making a loss on Nico.

He IS utterly useless. If €20M is his book value to get rid, please do.
book value is at least 30 mill we'd be making a loss at 20

Just watching Espanyol come back from 1-0 down and just scored 2 goals against atletico madrid pleases me after reading their pathetic bid for Nico

‼️ There's still no agreement between Juventus and Atlético Madrid regarding Nico Gonzalez.
Atléti are moving under the radar for the player, who would gladly move to the Colchoneros, in view of the World Cup next summer.
