And to be honest, it's the entire reason we started the Next Gen team. To create talent in our youth ranks, establish them, loan them out as they grow older, and sell for a profit to fund our team or integrate. I think Soule was in the unfortunate position that he aged out of Next Gen and was ready for our squad at the wrong time. He was ready and we are not ready because we're entering a new cycle and needed money to reinforce more than we needed him ready.

Not that exciting signing, but whenever I watched him at Viola I thought Juve could use such a winger and he is better that all we have bar Chiesa maybe.

I don't see this deal happening for 2 reasons. 1). McKennie - if he accepted then its a no brainer because getting Nico is as much about getting rid of McKennie - and there is NO WAY Fiorentina will offer McNuggets anything close to the salary he wants 2). He is a "good" player and not a great player. His value of ~30m - compare that to Galeno who we could get for a similar price. If it were me I would renew Chiesa at 4-5m if possible and go for Galeno.

My guess is that he will go to Atalanta around the same time we get Koopmeiners (if that ever bloody happens). We will end up giving McKennie away to Fiorentina and paying part of his salary at the last minute because McKennie is not going to find any club that wants to pay his salary.
