The thing I don't understand is how we can give a chance for young midfielders/defenders but we don't do it with our weakest formation - attack.

I agree, but that seems to be the way of Serie A in general. Any young attacker is rarely given a chance at a big club, yet sometimes full backs and central midfielders are thrust in and given chances. It's probably what makes El Sharaawy's rapid rise so surprising to most in my opinion.

In regards to Immobile at Genoa, if he's going to Palermo now it may not be much better for his progression, at least he's starting regularly at Genoa.
