He wasn't match fit at all when he arrived here. With pre-season under his belt I bet we would've seen a different Borriello.

All I was saying is that Borriello is a proven goalscorer in Serie A (19 goals) and the CL (5 goals iirc), Bendtner isn't. Tell me when Bendtner has scored 19 goals in the EPL

Nah, I prefer Bendtner to Borriello and I've seen Bendtner too many times. I've actually played with him and against him in KB many years ago.

Borriello was much better for periods of time in Genoa, Milan and Roma than he was for us, exactly due to the fact that he hadn't played a match in ages when he joined us.

How can you prefer Bendtner to Borriello? Bendtner's technical abilities are on par with Matri and his finishing is hardly clinical. The only thing he does is aerial presence, and even that is debatable since he rarely hits the goal.

One of them is 24 the other is 30. There might be a sell-on value in Bendtner - there's nothing in Boriello

We should. Neither are good enough as goalscorer, so at least take the player who can joggle the ball for more than thirty seconds and is decent in the build up.

Borriello has a better CV, but he was absolutely awful and horrible for Juventus last year. Worst player of the team by a mile (Estigarribia comes next).

Anyway, it's pretty sad that we are discussing who is less worse. Marotta
