PS: I have hopes that Bendtner isn't as bad as people here say. I really don't believe he can be as horrible as Borriello. Actually I think this is an improvement over Borriello.

Bendtner replacing Borriello, Giovinco replacing ADP. As fantastic as ADP was, Conte barely used him (huge injustice IMO). So we practically got an additional striker in Giovinco (who is good and can be very good) and replaced Borriello for Bendtner. That's what I'd call an average improvement in the attack department. When actually this was the weakest part of the team and needed huge improvement.

I also think he's better than Borriello. But it doesn't say much.

We needed a WC striker and not somebody who'd slightly improve Borriello's spot. We're not in Mickey Mouse competition this year, but Champions League, and we'll have a piss poor Bendtner to lead our front line which is rather pathetic.

He wasn't match fit at all when he arrived here. With pre-season under his belt I bet we would've seen a different Borriello.

All I was saying is that Borriello is a proven goalscorer in Serie A (19 goals) and the CL (5 goals iirc), Bendtner isn't. Tell me when Bendtner has scored 19 goals in the EPL

Just to make sure everyone gets me - I don't rate Nicklas at all. It's just how LOW I rate Borriello. Wherever he went he failed and no wonder this weak Roma wants to get rid of him. He makes no impact whatsoever. Bendtner blows, but he's no way worse than Borriello, it's impossible to be worse than that guy.
