What I meant was that signing Bendtner probably just an opportunity signing who just happens to fit Conte's description from Marotta's view rather than a signing Conte actually want which could be problematic because last season's competition has taught us that Conte is too picky when it comes to actually choosing a player to be on the filed. Let's be honest here, even though I acknowledge Borriello's contributions in a few last Serie A matches, (almost) no one saw it coming and it's a gamble on Marotta's part.
of course it was an opportunity signing. marotta did describe it as just that and so all the "booohooo he is not the top striker"-talk is just rubbish talk by some retards here, because marotta said that bendtner never was considered to be that top striker we were after. thinking that conte had nothing to do with this deal is not sensible. conte is not in jail, so there is a very high probability that marotta checked back with conte to see if he would agree to the bendtner loan.
seeing that we at least lost two strikers compared to last season and taking into account that we will have many more games this season it is just sensible to get at least one more striker as depth signing.

people who say we should have used our youth products as depth signing have a very small horizon obviously. if you let the youth player rott on the bench because he is simply a depth "signing" in the first place, than you will hamper the players development (we saw how that worked out with giovinco). it's much better having some bendtner rott on the bench because we do not have to care if his player value rises or sinks, because he will be gone anyways next season. in the unlikely case that bendtner performs we can buy him or buy him to sell him whatever

When he spoke with Conte on the phone Bendtner asked for the num 10 shirt, a decision which is being considered. seriously? rather have given it to fucking Pepe over bendtner!
Thanks! Please update on any new events. It's a very important situation we have here, and only you, can help us get the creditable info we crave for.

the fact that he even had the fucking audacity to ask for the num 10 shirt is punishable by death. losing Del Piero is one thing but to rub salt into his legacy by handing it to this twat goes beyond idiocy.
Maybe you have more inside details regarding this deal, I'm dying to know.

He has passed his medical :( Nothing can stop him now and according to a danish newspaper, we are paying almost 2 million euros for the loan deal.

Higuain: Salary of 4m before a renewed contract at Real, second fiddle to Benz.
Suarez: Salary of 3.5m before a renewed contract at Pool, who aren't in the CL, and he had a massive racism row that we didn't capitalise on. Didn't Caceres even mention, Suarez asking about Juve as club?
Dzeko: Salary of 6m iirc, and willing to take a wage cut and wanting to move to Italy, directly contradicting Mancini's interviews saying he's too good for the bench. 4th choice, not a protagonist.
JoJo: salary of 1m, troubled Fiorentina, and never once signalled his intention to stay with them during the juve saga. Prade even said 30m and we'll talk, but we waited till the last week by which time dv had convinced him that they had a project built around him.

No other top team came looking for these guys. All of that will change next season.
Dude, Fulham ain't in the Cl either, yet somehow Berbatroll still prefered them... Get real and 4 million is not peanuts for this Juventus, like it or not.

Besides the "before renewal" is interesting since they have both renewed so that doesn't matter now... Only Jojo was ever a real possibility with neither Liverpool, Madrid of City willing to sell at a decent price. But Della Valle fucked us over. Of course he knew we would come back for Jojo, the wait is no ecuse. They were ALWAYS going to build the team around him.

And if one of those guys would've actually been available of course there would've been top teams hunting them down, don't be so naive.
