If chasing berba wasnt bad enough it just got worse with Bendtner. Please Fiorentina hijack this deal. This signing is embarrasing. Unsure how to justify this to the EPL fans here in england on this.

On a side note though, I think Chamakh would be a better signing ahead of Bendtner. Yes he flopped at Arse but was something special before moving there.

I really can't believe this. This is insulting. Maybe it's too raw and i'm not thinking straight... but this feels like one of the worst signings Juventus have made in the past 20 years. I've said before we should sign nobody instead of panic buying but I forgot that's Marotta's specialty.

Okay we're not wasting big money here but this guy is arrogant, with average footballing ability. He'll score a couple of goals every so often and act like the big man and then fluff his lines when it really matters. He's 5th choice striker in my mind....

the worst bit is that it was Siena who had a deal in place for Bendtner and we fucking stole their target! goes to show how bad of a player he is

To Marotta's credit, however, Bendtner represents a real danger in the air that we otherwise lack on this club. Of course, that's what Chamakh was supposed to give Arsenal too. :andyandbarcelona:

He's not a 20-goal scorer. But when paired with some of our other offensive threats -- Giovinco, Mikro, etc. -- he could be more effective as a team complement than he is individually on paper.

Castagnini believes Bendtner is a better signing for Juve than Berbatov would've been, and says he has no doubts that the dane will adapt well to life at a club like Juventus, because he's mentally very strong: http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/?action=read&id=380896
berbatov's decision to move to fulham goes to show he lacks the appetite to play at the highest level just to please his wife? and quite honestly we are probably better off without him for that matter, regardless of how good or bad he is.

:agree:

Yeah, he's definitely better than Chamakh and very athletic so he can be a danger. Especially against Serie A's slow and short defenses. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do because I think some people may be surprised. *I'm not saying he'll score 20, just to clarify.

Short of memory but the same Chamakh was firing on all cylinders when we were last in the CL.
