How would you like it if every time I addressed you I said "want me to call homeland security?" It's like going up to a Japanese-American during WWII and say "want me to send you to an internment camp buddy?" It's not very nice and members like Osman, JBF, Fred, and myself don't have to put up with that.
That depends. I'm sure the jokes are funny the first couple of times but very tedious thereafter. I know I am definitely guilty of it in your case, Zé T -- I know I've done more than my share of annoying ribs about driving vans full of fertilizer (even if that's the m.o. for white boys from Oklahoma rather than Pakistanis). But then I always get ribbed about living in the gay Mecca of San Francisco -- or being the "ancient" guy on the forums. And surely Nick is getting ribbed big time by just the title of this thread. I mean, how can "Nick lost his vagina" not incite some kind of retaliatory comeback? He opened this thread with the title "THE LEGEND: LAPO, CIRO AND COMPANY" and we changed it.
So I agree that the borders can be fuzzy. We know all too well that some individuals on the forums think nothing of being called a whore, while others think (and justifiably so) that goes beyond just teasing. But where do we draw the line where we can no longer tease each other here?
Not saying there isn't a line. Not saying that line is easy to determine all the time. But we at least have to acknowledge it exists and can vary. And if we didn't acknowledge that just the title of this thread declares open season for Nick to dish back crap to others, we'd have to be more than a bit naive, don't you think? Otherwise we're holding Nick to a double standard.
