Indeed, and he has the experiance our young midfield needs. I would rather play him in front of the defense, next to Reyna, instead of Mastroeni if possible. I am not sure the extent of O'Brien's injury but hopefully it was just a mistake on the part of Marcelo Balboa to leave out Johnny's name.
