Burke: I possess an Italian passport you banjo playin inbred...that said, even if I didn't I would and will cheer for Italy..I grew up watching Serie A not US Soccer..I grew up reading the Gazzetta dello Sport and Domenica Sportiva not snippets of ESPN's 30 second soccer coverage..
I passionately cheered Italy on since I was a kid in the World Cup..not the US team which thought World Cup related to Curling.
More importantly, I grew up speaking, eating and under Italian culture..so fvck it...its Forza Italia..
You have some ballz telling me its gay to cheer for Italy when you consider yourself German because your grandmother's brother once owned a German Shepard or visited Berlin..or whatever.

Enron: About weed: "Thank God" because we have enough problems with drunk drivers killing bystanders...people forget that legalizing that stuff will lead to more abuse and use and much like alcohol will lead to greater deaths of innocent bystanders by people that don't use their head...
People assume that if legalized it will be like smoking a cigarette...
Alcohol is a no-no during the work hours...driving a car and pretty much most of the day...do people think weed will be a free for all use..

Hustle and Flow was the best 'rap' ..rags to riches story out there...and thankfully it made without the annoying rap star turned actor save for Ludacris who is actually a better actor than most out there. Terrance Howard was great in it but I would give the Oscar to David Strathrain of Good Night and Good Luck...
I watched Brokeback Mountain yesterday .. bottom line: it was pretty good but not at the calibre they are putting it..it was one of those movies most people probably didn't fully grasp but label it 'artistic' because it dealt with a taboo subject: gays and cowboys.
Plus it rubbed me the wrong way because it reminded me of Burke and Andy

I can say all the same...except the passport !!
unfortunately for me, the ONLY way I could see any Serie A when I was a kid was when I was over friends houses, early in the AM...they had that little antenna that went onto the roof of the house, that enabled them to get an Italian channel from Toronto that showed the games (a little snow on the pic, mind you !!
).
That was the only way anyone from Buffalo could see the games :depressed
I could never convince my father to get onto the roof, and hook up that antenna (he'd watch Italy's WC games, but was more of a baseball fan)
