I know the whole album and then went back to dig up his old stuff after I began listening to Late Registration.

Chris Martin sounds like he is yodelling half the time....only decent song they ever made was clocks but it was wayyy over-used.

Rossi's Azzuri Ambition

Manchester United's promising talent Giuseppe Rossi has pledged his international allegiance to Italy.

The New Jersey-born Rossi, who signed for United from Serie A side Parma in the summer of 2004, is also eligible to play for the United States.

But, despite featuring in youth sides for the States, a love of Italian football has swung Rossi's decision in favour of representing the Azzurri should the opportunity arise.

"I grew up watching the Italian team and Serie A," said Rossi.

"I really appreciate having had the chance to play for America and I thank the USA for that. But Italian football has always been a part of me."
The 19-year-old prospect has made 12 appearances for United after making his debut for The Red Devils in November 2004 during a Carling Cup fourth round win over Crystal Palace.

Not that award ceremonies are much more than window dressing and popularity contests. But most awards have some level of credibility and relevance: Oscars, Tony Awards, even the Emmy Awards. (Even the Vibe Awards are at least relevant for the stabbings.)

But the Grammies? Most of what they elect is either 10 years out of date or misclassified. And any new artists are almost always totally blown.

I caught the headline in today's paper and I had to half wonder if Mariah Carey won best Heavy Metal act... seriously. That's how much of a joke they are.

They are more of a who's hot contest than actual artistic merit...where people like Kelly Clarkson get an award and Arcade Fire is not even nominated gives you an idea of what a sham it is.

Andy..no I don't really listen to radio tunes...I don't even really listen to ColdPlay as they are the product of corporate marketing and ad blitzes. Am I supposed to believe that ColdPlay could be compared to U2 circa Joshua Tree...come on.

Anyhow, even U2 has become a marketing icon more than anything else...they are still fairly young (early 40's) but 80% of their shows are dedicated to songs from two albums from 20 years ago.

If Arcade Fire is lucky, they will win many Grammys in 15 years when they are irrelevant and recycling old material for a cynical reunion tour. That's perhaps their best hope.

His best song in my opinion is "Get Em High" from College Dropout, as well as "We Dont Care" and "Through the Wire" form the first album as well. College Dropout was clearly the better album from a true rap standpoint, in my opinion.

"School Spirit" and "Family Business"

Clocks, Yellow, Politik, Amsterdam, Warning Sign, Shiver, The Scientist, What If, Message, Hardest Part etc all great songs to be honest. I take it you're only familiar with the radio songs that are of course over-played..
