I remember a discussion with one of the guys before WC 2002. My friend went on and on about Argentina, Veron, Batistuta, Crespo....Blah Blah. And he almost sweared that they will win the whole thing. I told him don't be so sure, let them pass their group stage, Sweden, England, and Nigeria is no easy group, and then maybe they could go all the way. He wasn't convinced and went on with his reasoning of how great their players they have, and amid his enthusiasm he said "I will shave using a broken piece of glass if they don't!". Eventually he was embarresed and his team failed him. Luckily I didn't hold him to his word.
