Yet he had the balls to be the 1st major politician to go to NYC (same day?)---against the advice of half the planet.

Would you have gone? Be honest.
1st of all, as if he did out of his own choice. He's a little puppet in his own office.
2nd, so what if he did? He's the president.

against the advice of half the planet? yea that's nothing new to him. He went to Iraq against the advice of half the planet, but that's a seperate issue.

:p

btw, what's you guys' takes on fahrenheit 9/11 ? I just managed to watch it 2 weeks ago, for the first time..

I think it's interesting to say the least, as is Bowling for Columbine. Raises a few very interesting points.

Not a problem, amico mio. :)

Pure BS.

*gee, that's a surprise, Lou*

Why?

I found the part where he took around 9 minutes just sitting there, when he was reading the kids stories during 9/11 interesting.. Doesn't seem as one to think on his feet, eh? :D
Doesnt seem as one to think at all.

This is what I mean.

That is just not true....but you won't change your mind and I won't change my mind, so what's the point?

Divides the forums. That's all. Which is sad.

America doesn't work that way Jack. A third party comes around every now and again (see party, Republican), but at the expense of another (see party, Whig ).
But still IMO, one can make a change. If there is a will there is a way.

What I hate to see is people following supposed "pundits" such as Michael Moore like they are the reincarnation of Jesus Christ...the man might raise some good issues with Fahrenheit 9/11, however behind the facts there are always the biased opinions and the fact that the guy made the movie for the sole purpose of making money. If you are truly following what is going on in this world today you do not need such a biased movie to take your hand and "show you the way." This calls for the hated word objectivity.

Michael Moore is the absolute epitome of biased, one sided, skewed, bullshit journalism... An absolute disgrace of a man seeking only self gratification, personal fame and individual wealth..... A fvckwit of the highest order....

I simply stated shit was running out of his ear into a coffee can and this touched off a political debate?

Wow!

Here's another one: My water broke.

Discuss.
Breathe in through the nose, and out through the mouth.

I have a bit of experience in this area. :)

Check my post about it. I take no stand whatsoever to what the guy writes or does. He is the best example of subjectivity. As you said the purpose is just to make money, he is doing that by showing people his OWN point of view of anything, he is not raising any points nor ideas nor declaring facts.

Usually being the operative word in my setence, implementing doubt on what I thought

Though thanks, I wont make that mistake again
That post was not really directed to you...I have seen quite a few try to make such generalizations of "these people always follow these people." Doesnt always work.

I only have one point of criticism regarding George W Bush:

Disregarding whether or not it was the reason the US and its allies went to war; we are currently occupying a nation LOADED with oil.

WHY AM I STILL PAYING RECORD PRICES FOR PETROL? God, I drive a vauxhall, and I'm still splashing gold on it. I could be driving BMW or something fancy instead... :lazy:
