So South Korea are going to the World Cup under the guidance of Advocaat :undecide:

A commentator on Dutch TV about Dick Advocaat's training records: "His record at Rangers is not good; chances of becoming champions of Scotland is 1:2. He was only champion twice in four years!"

:D
You watched Studio Voetbal :D.

interesting or not so interesting fact of the day :

Over 2 home games... Juventus have an average attendance of 37.5% of her ground...

Surprisingly over two home games Inter have an average of 28.1% of their ground

 Interesting. Perhaps the interistas have finally learned that they've seen it all before...

Fiorentina's fans may be buggers, but they are great fans who support the team.

If any newspapers want to make up quotes and attribute them to Elkan or any Juventus officials, might I suggest: "Winning is a luxury we can no longer afford".

Makes as much sense to poor-mouth the concept of winning as it does to bash Del Piero :cheesy:

It was about the things that didn't happen rather than hitting you over the head with the things that did. In an era where movies are all about explosions, racing cars, or explaining the most basic plots to the retard in the back of the theater, this one didn't feel the need to be so brutally obvious.
She did a good job indeed. However, I think Jim Jarmusch is the "King" of the 'in-between' ... see Down by Law and Coffee and Cigarettes....

While I found myself defending DP on this page more often than I ever thought I would...then again I never thought I would defend him despite the 'respect' I have for his class (individual not player) and sportsmanship I always thought the media hyped him up too much...that was his greatest enemy and was his greatest obstacle.
Example: DP scores a PK and free kick which was not exactly a THUNDEROUS SHOT ...anyhow it was nice...the headlines scream the return of the Great Del Piero who dominated the game.

Anyhow..its been going on for years...they should have let the poor kid grow on his own.
