Example: DP scores a PK and free kick which was not exactly a THUNDEROUS SHOT ...anyhow it was nice...the headlines scream the return of the Great Del Piero who dominated the game.

Anyhow..its been going on for years...they should have let the poor kid grow on his own.
Absolutely. After Alex returned from his knee surgery there has been a pattern of putting in several anonymous performances followed by one or great fantastic games, and back to a disappearing act. Well, as soon as one good performance comes on the papers scream "HE'S BACK!"

Not fair to the man, not fair to the club.

Some of these so-called "fans" who follow Capello and Zlatan around like little kids are starting to piss me off. And wow, they are all new to the forum and from Sweden...what a surprise.

My Juventuz brothers and sisters, which is worse . . . that is to say which of the following would you like to receive the least:

A. A box of human waste delivered by FedEx to your home;

B. A wet shoe, gizzed by some "unknown assailant";

C. A cofffee can full of human waste delievered by the local postal service; or

D. A latex condom full of piss.

I was thinking that I need to take advantage of the fact that Nick is within striking range for the next couple of weeks (at least) and I should not miss my opportunity.

C. Because even if I'm not there to pick it up, it's going to do its damage regardless.

(Well, that and given my affinity for coffee...)

She did a good job indeed. However, I think Jim Jarmusch is the "King" of the 'in-between' ... see Down by Law and Coffee and Cigarettes....

Orange balls -- that's you get for using that "Tan in a Bottle" crap your mother warned you about.
Never thought I'd find something Burke probably has in common with Berlusconi, but...

Great observation to both Nick and Pado here. There is this exaggerated exhuberance about DP -- whether to say he's washed up when he has a bad day or to say he's come back like a lion on good days. It would be nice for the guy to do his thing without all the enforced melodrama.
