Seven- sometimes its best to just say nothing, and keep certain opinions to yourself
Going back to Seven's original comments, however, Vinman's reply here is entirely appropriate.

e.g., Tom may have come out swinging when Pope John Paul II died to take a piss on a lot of people, but he deservedly got his own bashing for his insensitive and intentionally poorly-timed comments. Seven deserved his own here...

Vin..so I guess we have the same 'contact' ;)

It seems the Canadians are well covered...between RAI and TLN and TSN for CL they have nothing to complain about except the cold and the CBC :D

Swag...Canadians in SF?? I thought they only migrated to NY ;)

TLN was the premier place to catch Serie A, however, GolTV and RAI to a certain degree have taken their place

TLN will show Milan and Juve's CL matches this week

You'd be surprised. I've worked for years with an Edmonton expat here in SF, and in my swinging single bachelor days I once shared an 1865 Victorian north of the GG Park panhandle with two 'Peggers (Winnepeg expats). One of them not only goes curling every week in the South Bay, but he founded and runs the Web site for the Digital Moose Lounge -- a loose Canadian organization for expats in the Bay Area.

I think those towers were disgusting esthetically speaking. Some guys have a fascination for huge buildings, but I really dislike them. It's also because they were so big that terrorists were able to kill that many people. It's just not right to put that many people in one building.
To be honest, the construction of the twin towers is much more of an accomplishment than anything built in your country. While we are building our edifices, you are being invaded and struggling to make a name for yourselves in the sprout and waffle industry. Congrats.

And please...how many times are you going to say "I'M GONE" only to come back again? I guess people without values know nothing about keeping their word...what a surpise.

What do you mean five years late...I'm not 21 yet! This past year was my first in college and my parents have finally let me do more things on my own now. You have to understand that my parents would never let me drive or fly 500 miles away on my own in high school...they were just that protective. But now since I'm older and more importantly moving out to an apartment I will have much more freedom. That is all I meant.
Doesn't really work that one. These kids just go nuts when they finally get some freedom.

Anyways feed them full of crap like the rest of us. What they don't know wont hurt them. At 21, you've already missed out though :D

I'm curious. Don't you get the same negative comments in the states in real life on sept 11? I mean isn't it even to be expected? People aren't going to talk about it another day because that is the day it is relevent. That is the day for discussing it.

Let's not fuel the fire any more Seven, please?

I recognize the sarcasm but others may not. I think it would be best for all if this discussion stopped right here.

    Thank you,

    Zlatan.

Anyone read Palermo President Zamparini's comments after his team delivered Inter and self-centered Mancini a reality check...he nailed it right on:

    (Excerpts)

“They are an arrogant team with an arrogant coach. Everyone is looking out for himself and there’s no team spirit,” declared Zamparini.

“I know what their main problem is- they are suffering from delusions of grandeur. They think that a team of Kings should be given the crown automatically,” said the fiery Palermo patron.

“Mancini was a great player, but he is yet to learn the meaning of humility.”

Not sure what you're trying to convey, however if you don't understand the protective parents concept I would not be surprised...different countries and different parents.

And wow, the Lions actually won yesterday and held Green Bay to 3 points. There is no reason why my team can't finish the season above 500...however we still suck playing away from home so that is where we will faulter.

All I'm saying is that I believe those two towers were an easy target. Does it look like I'm approving terrorist attacks? No, but Sergio and Nick sure make it look like I do. In all reality I didn't say anything THAT bad. And instead of going on and on about it, it seems more useful to think of ways to prevent this.
It is because we all remember you hate speech on previous Sept. 11's. Nobody here has forgotten the bullshit from 2004, and we were all waiting for more. This is why you received that reaction.

I have to say; wrong analysis
He didn't claim to find the answer to all of Inter's failures..but he did say something that rings true.

Every year Inter is crowned Scudetto champs by the media before the season begins and after a decade and then some without a scudetto...
Every year Inter's acquisitions are said to be the best only to ship them off the following year...

P.S. This is a web forum..maybe you can tell us WHY you think its wrong rather than two-three word conclusions
