First day of university; the first thing the professor of Decision making in the EU in practice tells us is that we'll be going to Brussels next Monday at 8.45 (sigh) by bus (double sigh) for an excursion to the European Parliament and the EU council (faint).

Gah... a whole day amongst them politicians... Think I'll skip on the bus trip back home in the evening and just have good night out with my classmates in La Bruxelles instead

And this is part of project; after a few weeks we'll have to play a little role play: an actual EU commission meeting. We'll all get a nation to represent etc and we have to reach a decision on several topics. It'll be hard as hell.

I hope I'll get Luxembourg or some useless country. Brilliant excuse to slack around

I just hope baby boy Carl was able to sleep at night, when at the same moment people were dying somewhere else. I just hope that my little sister won't have nightmares today, because she watched the news. I can only pray and hope that our houses won't be destroyed tonight. I can only ask you to be kind when there are such rough times ahead for me.
