It is interesting to see how easy is to proyect an image in peoples mind just with the right worlds.

I know Marcos from long time ago.I Studied three university years with him, when he was simply Marcos Guillèn, and spent lots of time with his family (sister and parents). Many of my friends are ex-friends of him. etc, etc......

He is the most uncool, despotic, arrogant, prepotent and selfish bastard ever.
Do you know how rich he is ? Do you know who controls the drug trafficking in the southern frontier of Mèxico? Or how he has negociated with government his "coolness", selling the zapatista revolution to the best payer? ? Do you know the personal Empire he has developed in Chiapas jungle, where he decide who lives and who dies ?

That is Marcos

But i rcognise he is a master in proyecting the right image of himself.....

Zlaty, not everything that shines is gold:cool:

Like you knew Marcos. Marcos is the coolest  ;)

where's that from?
That is the song in English the Brigate Gialloblu sing to the bus driver as they drive off to away matches (see my sig). It is cited in Tim Park's book "A Season With Verona," no doubt the best book I have ever read.

Yeah I knew you would mention that part..

Otherwise it's no doubt the best book I have ever read. It's hard to find a book that I will read from cover to cover, and Tim Parks has incredibly supplied me the goods. I love how he describes his travels with the Brigate around Italy and the chapter in which he travels with the owner Pastorello and the whole team down to the Lecce match. The way he describes the passion of the fans just sends chills up my spine, and the Italian educational experiance Parks provides is absolutely excellent.

Yeah, the book is pretty much available everywhere finer books are sold.

Tim Parks writes a lot about Italy in general, btw. My wife is currently reading Travellers' Tales: Italy, which contains a Tim Parks story.
