Paul, when Juventus bought Nedved, Buffon and Thuram they sold Zidane, they did not loan or 'fire' their players. And as Nick said, the title was not only won by those 3 players other players contributed as well.
Firstly, the fact we sold zidane or where we got our money from compared to chelsea is completely irrelevant.

You say others contributed at juve... And they didnt at chelsea??

Your saying John Terry, Eidur Gudjohnson and william gallas didnt contribute?

Your saying that Frank Lampard didnt contribute??

They were only their best and most consistent players throughout the season... They werent part of this buying era.

The only other player for them who has come in and really impressed consistently is Cech... Who even with how good he has been, many would say he wasnt really needed based on the performance of carlo in the season before...

So no i dont see a big difference.... Most of those bought have been a washout or werent wanted by others anyway.

As for nicks idea that they are bad cause they steal off others or the like... purleeez.. dont sit their and tell me juve, milan, inter, real, barca, manu etc havent used their power / wealth to take players away from other teams over the years... They all have many times.

Anyway... Im off away for the weekend... so seeya next week

Cheers Jeeks,

Before i go a quick look at the full list of players earnings from france football... (yes i know its been written elsewhere, but i was more interested in people heres thoughts.

Before people start saying becks doesnt deserve that amount... consider the fact that madrids Marketing chief Jose Angel Sanchez this week stated becks had made them on his own £30 milion in jus one season through shirt sales and marketing... How anyone can say he doesnt deserve the money when looking at those figures is beyond me.

This also goes the same for del piero who many criticise what we pay him... when the facts are he comes for free due his shirt sales and merchandising that rakes in pretty much equal to the rest of our entire squad on his own.

My actual point of posting this was how clever milan have obviously been!! .... Surprised me anyway.

I have no problem with any of those figures. A club enters into a contract to pay the wages after, I would assume, careful consideration of the club's financial health and expectations of what the player will give to the club in return. If the club makes a bad bargain it is not up to the fans to criticize. Especially when you consider that a guy like Andy Beck earned nearly $5.5 Million last year as CEO of Andrea Becchi Strap-on Dildo Corporation.

Zaccheroni is still being paid under the terms of his Inter contract. If he were to accept another job then Inter could get some relief. Until then, Zac is on paid vacation.

The chickens will come home to roost on that product, let me tell you.

There is a definite defect with it. Due to the fact that it is anatomically correct to the dimensions of the CEO, the product is constantly confused with a PEZ dispenser attached to a faux leather strap.

Andrew, you WILL be hearing from my attornies on this.

Unfortunately for you, the Andrea Becchi Strap-on Dildo Corporation is a legal entity, and being a monopoly power in the undersized Dildo industry, my corporation is legally immortal. Therefore, your quest to hault production of undersized Dildos is futile.

And it's not like the product is hurting anyone, literally. :D
