    Nick:

Do you know about Shevchenko's condition? Will he be able to play against Manure on Wendesday? He sure did not look good when he left the pitch.

I suppose Milan deserved to win the match, however Cafu might have fouled Agostini before sending the ball in to Serginho. What can you do though..
they complained about the ball being OUT of play and THEN they complained about the foul..basically they tried anything to get the goal disallowed...yet the fail to mention WHY after Cafu got the ball..crossed it and the rebound occured Cagliari never stopped playing and never protested..they only protested 7-8 seconds later when the ball went in.

Sheva: actually apparently he was upset at being taken off because he felt he was ok...so I think he will face Manure

The time between "the foul" or "the ball went out of play" and Cafu's cross to serginho which led to the goal, was like 3 seconds. So you cant really blame them for not protetsting straight away.

Sheva is definitly out of the ManU game, and is a doubt for the milan derby, according to channel 4.

actually there was a rebound after the cross and 3-4 seconds after the rebound it came to Serginho who one-timed it in.
Usually in any foul or protest the player IMMEDIATELY react..its human nature..you don't hold back your reactions IN CASE something happens....

think an off side..the keeper and defenders hands automatically go up signalling...OFFSIDE OFFSIDE!

When someone is hit and they think it warrants a card they gesture "CARD CARD" with their hand...

bottom line is you REACT right away..not a clear 8 seconds later when the ball is in the NET..

Besides are they serious: in post game interviews THREE Cagliari players had different versions..one claimed it was a foul..another claimed the ball was out and ANOTHER claimed that SINCE the defender (Cagliari) touched it a whistle and stoppage of play should have occured...

while we are at it we don't we measure Cafu's cleats to see if they are regulation..

COME ON! Milan dominated the last 15 minutes and Cagliari were just clearing it and hoping for the best

I didnt see the game, but I doo agree about the principle. If something really was/is wrong, most players will react immidiately, the same as hardly anyone will react if something didnt reall happen, especially defenders (excluding divers of course).

Vinman, I think we have the same satellite channels and our streak is about to end. So far, all 24 Juve matches (Serie A) have been televised, but our match against Messina is not being shown. GolTv is going with the Milan match. Fock. Even the Canadian channels you can get are not showing (as far as I know).

If you think you're a calm, relaxed person....

try watching a stream of the match on the internet.......I wanted to KILL my computer :fero:

What an adventure I had trying to watch the damn match....:(

    3. Yesterday at like 1.45 am a drunken Andy and Burke left me two absolutely hilarious voice messages on my cellphone. I have no idea if they remember about this, but in the message Burkey does a rhyme among other things. I was unable to answer the call because I didnt have my cellphone with me at that moment. I wish I could put it here as a mp3 or something because its worth listening to. Andy and Burkey wait for my call anytime soon
    No comment. :D

Have you ever heard of the "play till the whistle" saying that coaches often tell the players? I do not think you can look much into the actions of the Cagliari players because that is what you are supposed to do.....play till the ref blows it. However I do think that Cafu fouled Agostini and got away with it, or maybe it's just one of those 50/50 calls that are hard to make. Milan did deserve to win though.

His injury is a massive blow. I was hoping Shevchenko would eat Manure alive on Wednesday, however it's good that he will be out of the Milan Derby.

Oh, and the Milan Derby is the best derby ever in the world of football.
