Nick, Capello has a tendancy to make his teams suck when other teams catch up with them in the Scudetto race. The title is there for Milan if you want it.
In all fairness to Capello Nedved who seems to be the crux of the team is gone..that said they never had a convincing streak this season in which we could say they were justifiably the best Serie A have to offer.
His benching DP came back to bite him in the ass...
Does he expect and on again off again DP to suddendly play consistently..more over, Galliani is realizing Milan's system is relying on one player way too much (Pirlo). Juve needs to realize the same.

oh yeah and as Milan is starting Brocchi..not sure if Carlo wants the Scudetto badly enough

The first part is very true....I was wondering the same, treating Del Piero the way he did all the season does not mean that all of a sudden the player is going to make miracles

As for the second part, concerning Brocchi, it is not just Brocchi but Ancelotti has not started with his regular 11 (think Kaka and Crespo) s, don't you think it is just for the sake of the midweek game to come?

Nedved is our most important player, no question. I do think that Capello made the right choice saving Del Piero just to avoid injury and have him ready for the important part of the season, right around now. We need to have other players step up and do something for us in attack because if not we will lose the Scudetto.

Yeah Milan is all about Pirlo and Shevchenko. Without those two players Milan do not look very threatening and suffer because of it.

I am watching the Milan match right now, and it will be interesting to see how they cope without Kaka. They still look better than us in attack, and I would have given a lot just to take Rui Costa on loan.

    Nick:

Do you know about Shevchenko's condition? Will he be able to play against Manure on Wendesday? He sure did not look good when he left the pitch.

I suppose Milan deserved to win the match, however Cafu might have fouled Agostini before sending the ball in to Serginho. What can you do though..

I wish they would just stop talks for now so I don't have to look at this crap in the paper for the next ten weeks or so. It's pissing me off because they don't put any other sports in any more. All coverage seems to be second to the cancellation.

I came quickly to say three things:

    1. I think its bullshit that Nick will ever get on Skype. Ill get on Skype first before he does - for those who didnt understand: not gonna happen

    2. I hope Juventus can get the lead again. I dont think we;ll beat Madrid

    3. Yesterday at like 1.45 am a drunken Andy and Burke left me two absolutely hilarious voice messages on my cellphone. I have no idea if they remember about this, but in the message Burkey does a rhyme among other things. I was unable to answer the call because I didnt have my cellphone with me at that moment. I wish I could put it here as a mp3 or something because its worth listening to. Andy and Burkey wait for my call anytime soon
