sounds reasonable....
I have a question....
As you have stated before, you like the weights... yes / no
Now you ride a police mountain bike iirc
Does your keaness for the weights not effect your ability on the bike.
I ask because...
I am a keen cyclist covering around 250 - 300 miles a week.
As weve discussed before i also kick box.
Now in general the two activities (plus football) give me the balance i require.
However last year when i was convinced by her ladyship to enter a few kickboxing comps for the first time in 8 or so years... it required me to bulk up somewhat to be at my best... now this seriously hampered my cycling and as such i had to drop out of my cycling club for a few months whilst kick boxing as i didnt feel i was doing the club justice...
So do you feel the use of weights hinders you in anyway or that maybe you would be more effective on the bike if you cut the weights down?
sounds like you were over-doing your activities
between the weights, kickboxing and cycling, it seems like you are overtraining.
Why did you have to bulk up to kickbox ???? Usually , you lose weight when you are boxing/kickboxing training , I know that I use to
I really dont weight train that heavy anymore, especially since I play soccer a few times a week
remember to stretch to stay flexible while weight training too....
