Chances are good I'll make it on the pitch next time as well...

You might be able to make it too big guy so long as you don't avoid that annoying habit the Irish have of passing out before the match begins

Best Metros in terms of business opportunities, education, etc.

    Madison, WI
    Raleigh-Durham, NC
    Austin, TX
    Washington, DC
    Atlanta, GA
    Provo, UT
    Boise, ID
    Huntsville, AL
    Lexington, KY
    Richmond, VA

    Raleigh :thumb:

    Durham :yuck:

Everybody I know that has been to Austin, Texas raves about it. I have not been there but people seem to love that place. Raleigh is great city, but all of us relocated Northerners have driven up the property values by 900%. Close the damn city gates already!!

What about Detroit? The people mover is a very good Metro, and it takes you to some very nice neighborhoods. Broken down slums, crack selling hommies on the corner of Gratiot and Woodward, and the good ol' White Castle where Eminem hangs out are all high points of the Motor City. Yeah you know, they do it up nice in the 313.

No way, evil dwarf. I hate SUV's, my wife hates SUV's, I support the raising of gas prices because oil should be more expensive than liquid paper, we are liberals, friends of the environment and the wife shops at Target :D

He meant "Metropolitan areas" not an actual metro train

Detriot is a crazy ass city...

my first and only experience in Detriot was at 8 years old..all I remember was burning cars on the side of the road...lots of broken/smashed bumpers on the highway and old Bojangles going on' about the old days on the street corners to one in particular....
Scared the CRAP out of me

Yeah, I have the pleasure of traveling up there every Christmas to see all of my relatives, so it is kind of like a double-edge sword. BOTH of my parents grew up outside of Detroit in the "white suburbs", and that is where we FORTUNATELY stay during Christmas. One time we took a wrong turn in downtown Detroit, and we had to stop for gas in some slum hood. It was the scariest fvcking five minutes ever, with what seemed like a black gang running the gas station, all 15 or so black guys hanging out at a gas station in 25 degree F weather. After they filled up the tank, my dad, who seemed a little worried, gave the guy a 10 dollar "donation", along with the price of the full tank. Don't know what the hell would of happend if he didn't.

The only thing good about Detroit is going to a Red Wings game. HockeyTown USA.

Why in the hell were cars burning? Back in the 60's of course there were the race riots, but I don't think you're that old, are you? Back then Detroit was a hell hole. Welp, and I guess it still is today.

Sorry, I know it was probably serious at the time, but I'm sure you'll appreciate the humour of that in hindsight :D

Detroit is hell, no doubt about it. Every October 30th the residents like to burn the city to the ground. They call it "Devil's Night"

Nick, no Japanese autos in my life, only Stuttgart's finest, baby. And yes, I always recycle.

No tofu! I like meat and I have NEVER voted for the guy that won election to the U.S. Presidency. I am 0 for 4. However, I have never been beaten in my votes for N.C. Governor (but there I am an insider).
