No its not weird...it makes no sense because Gattuso realized from day one he is not as naturally gifted as Davids. Because both of them are constantly in movement he is a wanna be Davids? Davids role was MUCH more supportive to the offense and teams relied on his dribbling and ability to start the play. Gattuso breaks things down.

So basically two players that share the same characteristics are wanna be's??
Nesta in his first years was a wanna be Maldini because of class as a defender?
Maldini was a wanna be Baresi?
Baresi was a wanna be Scirea?
Kaka is a wanna be Bebeto?
Miccoli is a wanna be Zola?
Oh God did you at least read what I wrote in the second paragraph? I said that I think he's a wannabe Davids because of the aggressiveness he shows, thats all. It was a rather superficial comment. I wasnt talking about their abilities, roles, etc.
And by calling Gattuso a wannabe Davids I didnt mean that all players are wannabes of others.

:dontcare:

Miccoli will NEVER be Zola, but I get where you're coming from
Never be Zola... Micco will never be good enough to play for your average saturday fat drunk and middle aged league team

whats a recreational league??
You know, a league where the losing team has to pay for the beer at the local pub. Something along those lines.

I'm not the biggest Miccoli fan either.

Nick, tell that worthless sack of shit Balky to call me on Monday. I'm leaving to start the festivities. Sofia will be christened tomorrow and the celebration is on. Give Balky the 5 euros and I'll pay you back.

Show Balky some love

Miccoli will be big time, better than Zola in the end. I have no doubts.
Have to agree with that. Fabrizio has the talent to become better than most other support strikers in Italy, possibly even better than Captain Alex himself. Well, on the other hand, if Miccoli gets injured as much as Alex.......

Andrea: What are you smoking dude??
Personally I don't think Miccoli is OR will ever be Del Piero...natural talent of a player is obvious and the vision, skill and creativity Del Piero has I don't think Miccoli has..not by a long shot. Although I don't rate him as a low as Paul who has distaste for the meatball I do think Juve put or is putting too many hopes on him. He shined in Perugia....some players show their teeth in small teams and then bring it up a notch in the bigger teams but I don't think Miccoli has it to be what Juve wants him to be. I don't think he can "star" in a big team like Juve.
He is cut from the same rope as the Alessandro Melli's, the Hubner's, the Nicola Berti's and the Legrotagglie's who are MADE for the smaller club.

Does any one QUESTION the possible Cassano or Miccoli debate??

    Yes, here's my question.

Why was there a debate in the first place??

Its like when people had the nerve to say that Maresca will be better than Kaka
