Ohh and I wanted to ask ... how old is too old for me Mr. Sheepman? ;)

Nina, you should remember from our many trips to Trieste that I am an ancient 37 years old. Very old, indeed. Alas I am too old for the young, beautiful, vibrant Nina of the Slovenes :down:, and this is my greatest regret. Oh, what could have been. . .

Kiko: Typically what is the housing/rent situation in Montreal? Boom ..decline? Affordable?
Also what are some popular living areas so I can get an idea of rent.
Well Montreal is currently going trough a VERY hot market in housing. Vacancy rates are at record lows, but if you dont mind going into the suburbs there shouldnt be a too big of a problem. Downtown though, the prices are quite high(although you live in Rome so I figure your rents are probably higher). Umm well the most expensive stuff is in Westmount, but everything around Ville-Marie is very hot right now

Hope this helps...

I was probably blinded by your good, young looks :lick: And 37 is anything but ancient, not even old, not even close :cheesy: ;)

Looking forward on seeing you in Trieste :flirt: :D

Im never ever ever ever ever staying with a family. Im too picky, reserved and arrogant to stay with a family I dont know, they'd kick me out in a week,

but did you ever go to the residences? I wanna know if theyre good...
Do you actually pay heed to what I say or just wait for a line to which you can respond with something you seem to already know better than me?

Everytime I am absent for a day or two the topic here turns to "mud"...

Nina: You were in New York as a tourist so that is always a different experience. Take a walk through me old neighborhood in New Rochelle and you will see where the "stereotypes" from the Sopranos and the Mob Movies come from (or just see Padovano and Sergio: How-s you Doin?!)
As for Rome: you need a certain battlefield mentality to live here. Be it driving (be ready to be yelled at and reminded how STUPID you are every 5 seconds or general comments about your parents and their terrible job raising you!) or waiting in line and shouts from the back of the line (and the constant yells: Fokin Berlusconi! Fokin Bureaucrats! Fokin lazy employees!) or even just talking to people in Cafe's ...where in the U.S. the complaining was always about how someone got ripped off on a purchase or a big loss the night before or how they are upset because their "main man" from a reality show got thrown off here it is 25 year olds already biatching about how their pension is going to be really low and how many years they have left to work and OH YES how stupid Berlusconi is..I learned quickly to not respond.
In retrospect this post does not explain why I am as a you claim a "big mouth" but maybe just gives you a sneek peak at why I'm always in attack mode.

Sergio: Can you believe Kovalev? Come on ... don't give up the puck in double OT.

Padovano: Have you figured out WHO Mr. X is yet?? :D

    Marty: Miss me :D

No offense to anyone here but notice it only happens in Montreal and not Toronto or Ottawa or Vancouver...
No offense but its the French Canadians...

Give me all the sh*t you want for it but that is the bottom line...it is ignorant as Vinman said.

Despite the pleas of Jean Believeau, who is as classy a human being and ambassador of the Montreal Canadiens as you could ever have, and GM Bob Gainey, the people in attendance still decide to boo.

In no way whatsoever is it a mark against the orginization itself, just a lot of ignorant human beings up there who, quite frankly, don't deserve to wear the proud CH crest on their replica jerseys. Remember, these same clowns booed Saku Koivu this year. Yes, THAT Saku Koivu, the same one who came back from near fatal stomach cancer to play in the same season and lead the Habs into the playoffs 2 yearsa ago.

I'm embarrassed as a fan of the beloved Bleu, Blanc and Rouge, that that type of behaviour would go on up there, but that is their opinion, and rightly or wrongly, and they are free to express it.

Martin, I don't think its wrong to boo the opposition, its part of being a fan, but don't boo the country's anthem, even if you are not fond of it. That is just a sign of disrespect.

Nick, I can't speak for Pado, but I for one, am the farthest from the "stereotypical" Italian that you could ever find. I find it embarrassing and distasteful that Italian-Americans are shed in that mobster, open-shirt, gold-chain wearing, Bada Bing, How you doin', IROC driving light that has been cast on us. You can call me any name in the book, but the moment someone says "WOP", oh, believe me, its on.

No, not yet, and have been going through the newspapers quite carefully.

Sergio, I just found out that your man, Prince, is playing Raleigh next Friday. So maybe I get on stage before you and perhaps we can make some fudge, PACK it, and mail it up to Boston for you to enjoy. I'm always thinking about you, cutie.

Biggest Prince fan you'll ever meet.

Actually if you are going by yourself, there is one ticket available in Section 122, row X, for 75 dollars.

I think both are a sign of disrespect. Once the game starts you have plenty of time to make your point but while the players are being presented at the start it's just so unclassy to boo them.

I saw Springsteen at Fenway Park last summer. Great Show.

I keep thinking that one of these years The Who will retire, and I should go see them.

Kid Rock, I saw him open up for Aerosmith a couple of years ago. I saw Blink 182 at a place called Lupo's about 6 years ago when they came out with Dude Ranch. I'm glad that they've finally matured a little.

PIL, I assume is Public Image Limited?? Is that Johnny Rotten's group that he formed after the Sex Pistols??

Dylan, I would go see him if I can understand what the hell he's saying these days.

Serge, you are quite the music fan. You are correct about PIL - the shows I have them do have been very cool. I love Bob Dylan, but he actually sucked so bad the one time I saw him in concert that I would probably not see him again.

However, I shall be seeing Nina again :D
