If money is not an issue, then San Francisco would be the place to be.
I've been there twice to watch my football team play, the San Francisco 49ers (how's THAT for loyalty
), and it is the most culturally diverse, and progressive thinking location out of the three.In fact, San Francisco and Montreal are far and away my two favorite cities in North America that I've seen.
I like Fort Lauderdale a lot, especially when I was younger during my spring break days.
Kissimmee, I have to agree with Vil on this. It's a no man's land.
Of course, Paul, it all depends on what you want to do. The Summers in San Francisco are not that good, as it never gets above 22 degrees there, but the winter months are very mild, around 15 degrees or so. That's how its been when I've been there to watch a couple of playoff games.
Florida, meanwhile, is very hot and humid in the Summer, but the cost of living and housing there is much cheaper, and there are no state income taxes, and the real estate taxes there are very cheap as well.
San Francisco is murder for real estate taxes.

Dunno, basically want to relax and spend family time, but also somewhere friends relatives will like so i can give them the place for their holidays.
Anyway.. I like all 3 but was interested in the way of life and living standards in these places as ive only ever been for a max of 2 weeks at a time.

Florida: Sorry I'm not into gun carrying borderline Deep south thinking cowboys and retirees.
San Francisco: I actually lived there for a year (exchange during my undergrad) Not really a vacation home type of city and the real estate is indeed brutal but it sounds like Paul has invested in the Berlusconi school of Business and that is not an issue
Arizona: Boring as hell (if hell were not hot I imagine it would be suburbia boring like Scottsdale or Phoenix).
Nevada sounds good but I think it would be easy to get fed up after a month.
Personally: if you can do it: Vermont. Sardegna. The Canadian Rockies..lake louise.
Argentina: extremely cheap ..best "bang for your buck".
And of course Monte Carlo but my citizenship application is still in bureaucratic red tape so I can't judge yet

Roberto Mancini is very disappointed but he is happy with his players even if they lost 1-0 to AC Milan tonight.
"I think that we played a great game and we didn't deserve to lose," the manager said. "They had only one good chance tonight and that was the only shot that came from Milan tonight".
"Normally when you play well you win but this time it didn't happen," he added. "If we carry on playing like we did tonight for the rest of the season we can achieve our goals".

I think Mancini is a FARCE ...as a coach as a self proclaimed football "visionary" and lacks the class, tact and social skills of Lippi, Ancelotti, Capello and Del Neri. In my opinion he never has any clue what he is doing...Lazio are more unstable than Inter are more aimless than Ancona. No vision..no style and no system.
This week he kept going on about how Lazio is a better team than Milan and will not be intimated by Milan....they beat Milan 4-0 and this will be a 'walk in the park'. All this dazzle and Mancini plays all his men in a defensive midfield mode. No attack....no penetration ..no creativity ...all defense..every man marked....15 CORNER KICKS and not ONE loose ball..not ONE attempt at Goal...NOT ONE good shot on Dida...in fact the only time Milan was at Risk was when Dida failed to catch the ball on a simple bounce. Corradi was ALONE....Lopez was horrible in attack. It was obvious from the get go they played their catenaccio to hold the tie....NOTHING ELSE.
Milan had 2 corner kicks and still had 4 solid opportunities to score...yes many players were not ON their game but other players did not give up attacking...Seedorf, Sheva, Cafu battled and kept driving it down the flanks while Lazio did little but hold off the attack and offer no support for the striker.
Word of advice Roberto: when you play WELL you do win which is why WE WON...watching Pirlo Cafu Seedorf connect with a final volley to Ambrosini is enough to know that one team showed up to WIN and the other showed up to TIE.

I did not watch the match, but I do agree fully with your comments about Mancini. He was a great player, but he always managed to say stupid things that would undo his wonderful play. As a coach, he is hailed as the future of calcio. I don't see it yet. He has not won anything, and his teams are very, very inconsistent despite the fact that he always has good players in his squad. Consistency is what wins the trophies. Myabe Mancio is the next coach of Inter, Hee Hee.

So at this point in the season fair to say that Milan and Juve are still the teams to beat. Yes Yes I know I give Juve hell for their decline but amazingly they maintained their position right behind Roma EVEN if they didn't beat a major team this season. Kudos to that...
Roma's 4-1 and 4-0 wins still don't scare me as they disappear when its time to 'perform'. When I look at the stats I still look at HOW ahead of Juve we are..regardless if Roma is in between us.

For all the press that has hailed Roma as the best team in Italy, and perhaps Europe, and the praise for Roma playing the most beautiful football, opposed to how terrible Juve has been and what a joke the aged defense is, the fact is:
Juve is only one damn point behind Roma. One damn point. I guess Juve isn't as terrible as the press has made out.
