Well that was very weird. Getting ready to turn the lights off downstairs to go to bed, a truck comes driving around the block slowly, then pulls into my neighbor's drive. Thinking something is a miss, I run upstairs to where it's dark to see if I can figure out whats going on. Then he starts to drive again, but stops right in front of our house. He starts to back up a little, then moves forward again, then backs up again slowly in the span of 4 meters. It almost was like he was scoping out my house. After a while he starts to drive again.

So he drives away, down the hill, then comes up again and drives into the same neighbor's driveway (they dont have a truck like that). So I turn off all the lights, grab a baseball bat and my pocket knife, proceed outside through the back door. Once I'm outside around back, I see another car pull into their driveway. This car turns on a high beam light. It's a cop. So I thought something was going down. But as I looked over again, the fucking truck was gone already! The cop walks around the house after talking to the mom that lives there, doesnt find anything.

I should have walked down the street (without the weapons) after he was done and told him what I saw, but seriously, that was weird. I may have scared whomever it was off when I turned off the lights. I'm calling up the neighbor tomorrow to see wtf happened. Don't want any home invasions in this fucking boring community.

Could be worse. You could have to live in Oakland where there's this whole scraper bike phenomenon. (Hyphy devolved.)

So, being residents of the Bay Area, we're supposed to show our cultural understanding and support for a bunch of kids practically old enough to drive (and certainly old enough for long prison records) and celebrate how they're empowered in their community by expressing themselves through their customized and oh-so-clever bicycle designs.

When in reality, instead of looking badass in the 'hood, they look like complete back-of-the-short-bus retards -- appearing half their age (think Manhattan stock broker in a Ralph Lauren suit on a scooter) on ridiculous bikes that look like they came out of cereal boxes.

They should all be shot. :weee:
