If I was supposed to get something, I didn't.

At Liverpool University I took BA (Hons) English Language and Literature. At St Martins London I took an MA Design. Neither were challenging or interesting. Both allowed me too much free time to take too many drugs.
its from a song by "pulp" common people, and drugs are a great way to reach an intimate clarity with your environment (be it places or people) just dont do em when in bad psychological health

Damn, ya'll hear about Sean Taylor? He got shot in his Florida home and is in the hospital in extremely critical condition.

Got an update on his condition:

A REALLY REALLY POSITIVE SIGN (UPDATED)

Les Carpenter, who is working the story for us in Miami, heard rumblings that Sean may have opened his eyes.

I have not been able to get that confirmed but just heard from a team offical that Sean is now responsive, which is obviously a turn for the best. I will continue working away to get more details, but this is obviously a turn for the better after Sean spent much of the day in a "non-responsive and unconscious" state.

As the person put it: "Finally, the first good news all day." Let's hope it's the first of more to come.

UPDATE: Vinny Cerrato just called us with confirmation.

"He was responsive to the doctor's requests to squeeze his hands and showed facial expressions. The doctors were very happy about that," Cerrato said " ... Two doctors came and told us they were excited about that."

Cerrato also confirmed my earlier reports about Sean being "non-responsive and unconscious."
Cerrato said: "We'd heard all that, and what they told us was to hope for a miracle."

Cerrato said Taylor is still in critical condition but did not have many details beyond that. Vinny said Sean was in surgery for seven hours.

Les Carpenter reports from the hospital there that the mood has changed dramatically around there and people are suddenly in much better spirits.

Just got off the phone with Richard Sharpstein, Sean's lawyer and a family friend.

Richard said they are saying Sean is in stable but critical condition and remains under constant care in the ICU.

"This was a great ray of sunshines, but we're not out of the woods yet," Sharpstein said from the hospital. "The doctors are stil guarded about the diagnosis. Until he comes to and speaks and recognizes people, they are going to be guarded, but this was obviously a very positive sign and a recognition of a command."

Talk about irony. You send a guy home to recover from injury and get fit. What happens? He gets shot and almost dies.

So I just got off the phone with India(Sony Support Center whatever you want to call it), I am expected to send my laptop to San Diego for like two weeks to have it repaired! This is dumb I would never do that. I told "Becky" I will not do that and she told me it is my only option. Sony is the worst  I guess I'll have to use my Macbook for a couple of weeks

Colantuono and Cagni both sacked and you food eaters want to talk about Emeril?

Dish Network sent me a letter (in Italian no less) trying to get me to recruit a couple of woppers to subscribe to RAI. I figure if some wopper wants RAI he can just pick up the fucking phone and order it without giving a shit whether Ginzo Padovano makes a filthy $50 off the deal or not.

No thanks. I'll be joining Burke for a nice steaming cup of BALLS.

Im not shocked, he has made a lot of money. He really doesn't need his show anymore to be successful.
I am I mean yes he is successful but he was the only person I actually watched minus that Semi Homemade lady on the Food Network.
You fools! Don't you realize what really happened here? The Food Network has been shedding itself of any credible, capable chefs for years now (Mario Batali, Anthony Bourdain, etc.) -- replacing them with vapid morons with a tenth of the talent and 1/100th of the salary demands. Complete dolts with big smiles who can tell you little more than how to make microwave chicken enchiladas.

Don't you get it? The Food Network is not about aspiring to be better cooks, the way that Julia Child did. It's all about being cheap and stupid -- basically the CNN equivalent when they fired all their competent reporters and replaced them with 22-year-old bimbos who will work for blow jobs.

Make no mistake: Emeril didn't "leave". That wording was likely their negotiation terms when he didn't opt to renew his contract with a massive, lowballed pay cut. It's how The Food Network has operated.

Looking at the amount of time you have for this forum I'm sure yours is ok. You write more here than anyone I've seen. Every University gives you too much time for too little work.

I hate hippy attitudes. Drugs are for getting wrecked. They do nothing but numb the brain. Unless you are talking about a Pado fookfest, that's different.

p.s. Britpop is shit. Don't listen to that.
