That is the bomb, Bozi.

That, sir, is something I really don't understand. Just because you put some greasy farmer with a funny accent on a boat and send him to a foreign country doesn't prevent him or cure him from his racism.
No, it doesn't, but you'd expect immigrants to be more tolerant as they are all foreign themselves.

You're Irish turdhead? I mean Claire.
No I'm English.

In American it is popular to beat up on whoever is new in the neighborhood. Kind of like picking on the new kid in school. My point by mentioning the Irish was that it isn't such a big deal. Its not like my ancestors were forced to pick cotton or not allowed to vote. We were just asked to pick ourselves out of the gutter after a Saturday night and not marry rich people.
Sorry but this isn't comparable. The Irish were practically slaves, they were raped, killed, starved, hundreds of hundreds of years, millions of deaths. That isn't something you compare to some wop who thinks he's hard done to because he can't get a job because he can hardly speak the language. No offence. You will also find ten times more Irish in the gutter than any Italian in any country in the world. It's just not comparable, in any way, past or present.

I get what you're angling at. Never witnessed this on Chicago's South Side, that's for sure -- Italians and Irish were peers in their rivalry. But there are definitely pecking orders among some cultures. For example, among Latino immigrants, the Mexicans will look down on the Hondurans, the Guatemalans on the Nicaraguans. And everybody looks down on the El Salvadorans for some reason -- like they're the only of the bunch who will clean toilets for a living like in some Indian caste system.

Heck, you only need to be in a university science department to see how the physicists look down on the mathematicians who look down on the chemists who, in turn, all laugh at the biologists.

You learn something new everyday.
Like when I got a call today from Osvaldo Jaconi. He told me, in the only English he knows, "I bulldozer. Cobolli Gigli like triple-ripple butt plug."

Good game between Dortmund and Bayern, broseppi....a goal is what it only missed. Excellent display from both teams and a great game by the referee that actually knows what refereeing means.

So Cobolli Gigli called again last night. He says Juve is like Ned Beatty and Bergonzi is like a hillbilly in Deliverance.

Sooooeeeee!
Motherfucking Rai - Domenica Sportiva brings Ranieri on as a guest. He sits there for the entire 90 minutes while they discuss every Serie A match EXCEPT the Napoli-Juve match, and the ONLY fucking question they ask of Ranieri: his opinion on Roma's Brazilian defender Cicinho.

Not that Rai wants to cover up the top story of the weekend or anything, but now I am convinced this shit is fixed. I've been watching that show for 10 years and that is the first time they neglected to discuss a Serie A match.
