Motherfucking Rai - Domenica Sportiva brings Ranieri on as a guest. He sits there for the entire 90 minutes while they discuss every Serie A match EXCEPT the Napoli-Juve match, and the ONLY fucking question they ask of Ranieri: his opinion on Roma's Brazilian defender Cicinho.

Not that Rai wants to cover up the top story of the weekend or anything, but now I am convinced this shit is fixed. I've been watching that show for 10 years and that is the first time they neglected to discuss a Serie A match.
That is one thing that I am not up in arms about there being a fix in. I was watching La Grande Giostra dei Gol this morning, and they spent almost a half hour debating the issue. Problem is that RAI doesn't seem to even have rights to show the highlights. So they literally got their panel guests trying to emulate the penalty replays on stage with a football in order to get their points across. I have never, ever seen a network stoop so low to cover footie news. It was particularly embarrassing for the audience when Italo Cucci had to play Chiellini and got out a tube of K-Y to demonstrate.

F*#$ing Camorra has got even the You Tube rights to that match. I swear.

Btw, Flavor Flav called. He said, "Get up, get get down. Bergonzi is a joke in your town."

Yes, I watched La Giostra as well and was thinking "just show the damn clips" before just assuming they don't even have rights to highlights, which by now must be public domaine!

I did find the highlights on Youtube after turning off Rai last night.

Terrible game, but I already knew that was coming. I was so drunk for the match that I slept through half of it.

That's rather fishy indeed. But you have to ask yourself - why on earth would they decide to bring on Ranieri when they knowingly would neglect to discuss the biggest match of the weekend? Perhaps the presence of Ranieri would make it look less suspicious, but why wouldn't they want to discuss the match anyway? There's already uno fuoco.

Yeah, not having the rights to highlights could be a reason why they didn't discuss the match at Napoli. However, I'm sure Pado has seen La Domenica Sportiva discuss matches that RAI has not had the rights to, perhaps the weird conglomerate of clubs such as Lazio, Messina, and Cagliari who had a different television deal than the rest of Serie A. But even if that was the case, why bring on Ranieri just to have him sit there? Very odd.
