actually watching Veron running up and down the field orchastrating estudiantes' play made me think that we might be better off getting some older players on 1-2 year contracts for our serie A transitional period. Imo its a bit foolish, both in player price/negotiation leverage and financially as a whole, to go for marquee players off the bat. i personally am willing to be patient and possibly miss CL a couple of seasons if it means a steady strong growth. Question remains does our board have a plan?

Veron actually enjoys playing for them; he doesn't quite do it for the money. You can see his passion and love for the game and the team in his eyes. So I'd say he's an oddity.

inter has that kind of effect on players no but really in estudinates he gets to retire a hero, calling the shots basically so its an obvious choice for him as he is past it to feature in a premier side
