But that's why I take all Manure and Arsenal fans here in this country with a grain of salt... the real football fans are those who watch all leagues, not just that football in England. I applaud the likes of Vinni, Pado, Nick, Burke, Greg, bianconero and the like who can differentiate between the leagues with an open mind..

Pfft...'cakers. I live in a town full of Italians and some Croatians, with a few English people. But the English don't like us of Italian descent, that's for sure.
I can sort of see why because Italians tend to have this "better than you" attitude around here, and whenever Italy wins in soccer, everyone goes flaging (although I don't, I would only flag for Canada which will never happen). They get annoyed, and I see how that cockiness is a piss-off.

But that doesn't give a right to throw around racist jibes. That group on facebook is full of racist Englishmen with an inferiority complex with Italian football... those are the sort of English fans who give a bad name to their clubs, much like the cunts who love Manure. Absolutely horrid fans who are partly why I hate English football.
Ah, let the bastards talk all they want. It doesn't matter...when was the last time they won a World Cup? What do they have to show for football credibility at the international stage in recent times? Nada. Just failure to live up to the hype given to them by the media around the globe.
Obviously it has something to do with EPL's popularity: everyone expects big things from one of the world's most followed leagues. A handful of these players can play good football, but the rest of the players are just filler. Hence, the EPL is diluted in terms of quality, unlike Serie A, La Liga, or even Bundesliga for that matter. It's no secret that Hargreaves was England's best player at WC 2006, and he doesn't even play in the Premiership. Perhaps the lack of quality in EPL brings the rest of the English down.
As for the fans, the problem is that they gloat over league success and become so full of themselves that they say obscene shit, à la these numb-skulls. That Man Utd - Roma game was a fluke, and if they want to celebrate it like a World Cup, let them. If one game serves as the basis of their arguement that Italians are shit at football, then what's 50 years of failure in the World Cup, underachieving players and raucous fans say about the English game?

This is a rather astute observation. Most English-language TV coverage of any kind of footie here in the States seems to seethe with a built-in bias. In effect, it comes off as if they're all just public relations mouthpieces for the EPL.
If I had more of an Italian belief in the mano cornuto, I'd be looking at this most recent wave of U.S. investors in English clubs as an orchestrated money-making campaign that has its foundations laid in U.S.-media-generated propoganda. The media coverage platoons the landing party, the American club owner bucks invade in amphibious assault vehicles crossing the Pond, and the scenario is set to make American money in English footie soil. Let's not forget the one thing Americans know how to do extremely well: make a buck off of people.
But hey -- that would require a rather suspicious character to entertain such conspiracy theories.
