Great to see that when it all comes down to it, Americans stick by each other. Nice, because even though Andy's a student that will be beaten up by cops like Vinman (and don't tell me this is unlikely), the two are a united front towards the world.
What is with you lot anyway... how many times do I have to explain that I have personally spoken with Vinni, Nick, Pado, Greg, Sergio among others on the phone or through the use of Skype. Now through such
verbal discussions, the ability to get to know someone a little better arises as one does not have to rely on their fingers to communicate anymore. This "social bridging of the gap" allows people to know each other better and become closer, which is what has happened around here.
So no, Andries, it's not just because we're American. The reason why I would defend somebody such as Vinni over someone like you is because I know him much better and can consider him as a friend. It just happens to be a coincidence he's from this country. On the other hand I have spoken with people such as Martin and Fabiana, and to a lesser extent and only on MSN with Rab and a few others, so if you think I'm only going to defend people from the United States I can assure you you're wrong... it has got nothing to do with that. It's really not that difficult, Seven.
And for the record I don't personally respect all cops... certainly not those who patrol nowhereland and only write out speeding tickets. I only respect those who have real policing duties such as Vinni who patrol some of the roughest streets in this country. Don't you dare think for one second that you have a grasp over what a big city police officer has to deal with day to day on the job, as I can assure you it's no easy task. Every single day you hear or read about an officer getting shot in Queens or Dertroit or some other slum around this country... I know that personally I'm not cut out for such a job, and I know for a fact that you certainly are not either. So to sit here and judge the professional attributes of an officer you've never spoken with... who patrols streets that probably make Antwerp look like Candyland... is really just disgusting and imbecilic. As Vinni has probably stated before, you wouldn't last a minute in some of these neighborhoods.
Open your fucking eyes, Andries.
