To be honest, winning 1-0 on aggregate only after a wondergoal by Kaka in extratime against Celtic of all teams is not very promising. I don't know why your owner and staff keep blabbering on about how good you lot supposedly are as you haven't been impressive in Europe since beating Bayern last season.
Milan is not going to win the Champions League this year unless they somehow have a miracle turn around.
And they didn't score a single goal on 4 ( 90 minute) matches in a row in CL ( AEK, Lille, Celtic and Celtic again) , just to score in overtime.
They are having a pathetic season in Italy ( influenced by Calciopoli, though) they had AEK, Anderlecht, Lille and Celtic on their way to the quarterfinals ( managed to beat only Aek and Anderlecht), and so far whenever they played against a more solid team like Roma, Inter, Lille, Fiorentina, Palermo, they eather lost or drew.
And on top of it their main ( and only) weapon, Kaka, was invisibile whenever Milan was against a solid defense.
I really don't know if Berlusconi and Galliani really mean what they say or they're aware it won't be their year but still are trying to motivate their players.
But if they really mean it, i can't see where does their optimism comes from.
