There's a massive cold front on its way from the West that will produce a line of rather powerful thunderstorms (for this time of year) across the Ohio Valley and up towards your area Thursday night. Then once the storms push through the cold air will follow closely behind, producing some snow in the lower Great Lakes region.

Winter is surely on it's way after this cold front.
