Andy, it makes sense to say that is one of Gerrard's problems. If he focussed more on one position he could become a legend, otherwise he'll still be great though.

I want to hold on to Palladino. I love to see him play. Though I didn't catch the game today, because I'm simply not able to on saturdays as I have my own games, I heard he was okay and scored. I hope that gives him some credit.

Buffon's card was very debatable. And though I am glad Palladino scored in Juve stripes, I can't exactly say his goal demonstrated any particular offensive skill that you couldn't find in, oh, say a Birindelli.

I hope he proves himself. But he has a lot to prove still, IMO.

However, the conversation was about how supposedly Gerrard's weakness is that he can play several positions. Now I don't know about you, however being able to play several positions is not a weakness in my opinion. Now you may be right about Gerrard not focusing on one position, however it's not really detrimental to a person's career to acquire skills of multiple positions. One of the reasons why Gerrard is indeed so good is because he can do it all in midfield... now that does not only come from playing a free role behind the strikers.

Andy, I hope Michigan wins against Ohio State today. I really haven't been watching the Wolverines this year, but they're kicking ass, so good on them.

EDIT: And I jinxed everything. Ohio is dominating now.
Good man. I absolutely abhor those fags at Ohio State.

And Michigan is coming back into the game... 35 - 31.

I think the card was very clear, but I love how Buffon took it. :D

Well it's definitely not a weakness per se. That's pure stupidity.

1. Michigan sucks. They always beat the teams they are supposed to beat and lose to the ranked teams.

2. Swag - where did you see the Juve match?

3. Menace - I wish I could drop you in South Central. With your Masters Degree in African relations you won't have to stick your head in the oven ever again.

Video highlights and RAI Uno radio only I'm afraid. I'm still waiting for the torrent.

Even better: Menace, you can have my seat next to Dr. Dre at next year's Vibe Awards.

Like a true Italian :D. "What me? Did I do something wrong? You must be kidding?".

I also loved it how he started looking to Albinoleffe players: "Did you see anything? Have you got a clue as to why he's sending me off?".

You know what? I know shit about the rules, but I'm starting to like watching American football. I think I'm going to try to watch some games. You never know, it might interest me.

Point is Palladino was exactly where he should have been and that's a quality as well.
Absolutely. If he hadn't been there, Albinoleffe of all teams would've ended our impressive games-without-defeat-streak running since Oct. 29th, 2005.

He impressed me because he clearly is down the pecking order at Juventus, yet he seized the opportunity and scored a vital goal for his club.
