Toni to Milan scary??? no not really. Their tactics and formation is the problem, now who's going to partner Gila. There's no charisma and style in Milan's play.

It's a matter of a system more IMO.
dont know, dont watch them play. but having a solid striker would do wonders for them imo..

But Messi has a hella lot of potential and like Fliakis said he seems like Barca's best player thus far this season. So it's no wonder why he garners so much praise.

He Indeed got lot of Potential...no one can deny that. He knows his game, he knows how to play his football. Playing alongisde Deco and Eto'o and Ronaldinho will keep on proving him even more.

I've seen Barca's recent games, in la liga and Champions league(Chelsea), he was Chelsea's threat number one. He needs to continue on this way, and work harder, play with his heart.

One thing I don't get is , why Inzaghi is still in Milan? Seriously, what he's doing over there? Enjoying the view from the bench?

He better move from there. He's always not giving enough chance to play.

Hi, I new here. What is thread about? I can't really be bothered to read 3100 pages. Who is Nick? Why is he against the world? I just saw the Serie A table and Juventus wasn't listed, did they go out of business?

It's simply about paying respect where it is due. But yet even to this day people still make a stink about Barcelona winning the Champions League despite looking like the best team in the tournament and getting the job done. So if you put those two things together and the fact that Barca are indeed blessed with players such as Ronaldinho and Messi and Xavi... yes it seems like jealousy. Especially when voices continue to demean their accomplishment.

But, in actuality, about the same number of passes are threatening for the Azzurri, so what's the point? That is also a superfluous generalization as well. Barcelona has loads of posession and keep the ball away from opposition, which besides scoring is the main idea of the game.

Football is not supposed to be stricken with plans... if you want everything to be planned you should give your offensive coordinator a call and have him tell Edmilson to hike the ball back to Xavi and have Etoo run a screen play on a field with yard markers, not Camp Nou. Football is not always planned, that's why it is so beautiful. So this is why it's so outlandish to have people moan about Barcelona supposedly not having a "gameplan."

This is like blasting Milan for seeing that most of their passes come from Pirlo and Kaka. Who cares?

Well that's great and all, but Trezeguet scored over 20 goals for us in multiple seasons when everybody else was stuck on single digits.

I don't like how Juventus plays because the saves almost always come from Buffon.

Perhaps, but you might find it troubling tapping the ball forward to Messi forty times.

Barcelona uses the flank many a times, so I'm not sure what that's about. Belletti on the right would always see the ball and Van Bronkhorst and Ronnie always have the ball on the left flank.

That's more of personal taste, and since you find the EPL rather entertaining of course you'll like fast-paced play. However, that does not make them a better team than anybody for that matter... just because they have the ability to play fast. Barcelona throws several players forward, has copius amounts of posession, are usually rather entertaining and got the job done when it mattered last season. That specific combination is how they won games and that's why they deserved the trophy.

Absolute sickness and ownage.

@Vinni or anybody who watched the match today...

How exactly were Didier's tactics like? By that I mean where was Marchisio hovering towards and with what pace was our buildup speed, so on and etc.

It's fucking gay not to be able to watch the matches anymore.

I thought we were playing a 4-4-2, but DP was always out on the left, almost playing in Neddy's position, leaving the worthless Zala as a lone striker

Marchisio played in the center of the midfield, and showed some nice ball skills (someone said he is a DM...I disagree), and in the first half we looked pretty solid

The second half was a different story, as Napoli was all over us after DP scored on a free-kick, and we had few answers for the constant attacks

Thanks for that, Vinni. From what I've read people are rating Marchisio rather highly, so that is either good or bad news. Not sure why Deschamps played around with Zalayeta up top with other, more capable options on the bench.
