Carlo Ancelotti: “Coincidence is when something happens once or twice, but from the start of the season we’ve had too many refereeing errors go against us. I really hope it doesn’t repeat itself. What happens to the Rossoneri directors outside the field of play is obvious to everyone. I don’t know if they’ve got it in for us, but we were the only club not to receive a discount on the Calciopoli penalties.”

is he just trying to save himself or legitimate complaints?
i think as maresca said, his team had very unlucky not only from the refereeing point of view. Some games like the Palermo and Inter games the ball wouldn't go in.

He blamed refereeing before that, it is not new with Carlitto but I have my doubts about how things are going on in Serie A this season.

I guess Nick and the rest of the Milanisti are really missing Luciano Moggi about now. Ah, the good ol' days when Milan never lost.
I thought Nick said that Milan days were going to be better without Luciano and that Milan can now win Serie A:howler:

Lets make a poll...If Milan will make it to Uefa Cup or Champions League, or none!

Jealousy is such a strong word. If you mean by that that I would love Messi and Ronaldinho to play for Juventus, you're right, but if you mean I would like my team to play like Barca you're wrong.
It's simply about paying respect where it is due. But yet even to this day people still make a stink about Barcelona winning the Champions League despite looking like the best team in the tournament and getting the job done. So if you put those two things together and the fact that Barca are indeed blessed with players such as Ronaldinho and Messi and Xavi... yes it seems like jealousy. Especially when voices continue to demean their accomplishment.

In the end only two or three Barca passes actually go deep and are threatening
But, in actuality, about the same number of passes are threatening for the Azzurri, so what's the point? That is also a superfluous generalization as well. Barcelona has loads of posession and keep the ball away from opposition, which besides scoring is the main idea of the game.

Football is not supposed to be stricken with plans... if you want everything to be planned you should give your offensive coordinator a call and have him tell Edmilson to hike the ball back to Xavi and have Etoo run a screen play on a field with yard markers, not Camp Nou. Football is not always planned, that's why it is so beautiful. So this is why it's so outlandish to have people moan about Barcelona supposedly not having a "gameplan."

and they almost always come from Ronaldinho, Messi or Xavi.
This is like blasting Milan for seeing that most of their passes come from Pirlo and Kaka. Who cares?

Well that's great and all, but Trezeguet scored over 20 goals for us in multiple seasons when everybody else was stuck on single digits.

I don't like how Juventus plays because the saves almost always come from Buffon.

All in all Barcelona is far from a great team. Hell, even I could tap the ball back to Xavi forty times.
Perhaps, but you might find it troubling tapping the ball forward to Messi forty times.

And what about their unwillingness to provide Zambrotta on the wing? Plain stupid if you ask me.
Barcelona uses the flank many a times, so I'm not sure what that's about. Belletti on the right would always see the ball and Van Bronkhorst and Ronnie always have the ball on the left flank.

I understand why people would admire Chelsea. Unlike Barcelona they try to play as fast as possible. Whereas you could compare Rijkaard with having tea with your grandmother, Mourinho takes you on the rollercoaster. That said I'm not a fan of Robben's or Drogba's antics.
That's more of personal taste, and since you find the EPL rather entertaining of course you'll like fast-paced play. However, that does not make them a better team than anybody for that matter... just because they have the ability to play fast. Barcelona throws several players forward, has copius amounts of posession, are usually rather entertaining and got the job done when it mattered last season. That specific combination is how they won games and that's why they deserved the trophy.

I keep on reading Messi's name...TBH, I don't think he's anywhere to Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Xavi and Puyol's level...They give much more than what he's giving. Not to mention that he didn't play such a big role last year when they won the Champions league.

he's 19.. and he's been barcas best player in the few games ive seen this season...
So is Fabregas who's giving his Arsenal team twice If not triple what Messi is giving. Like I said before, all this pony show doesn't really attract me...Hard-working players, going back to help defenders, know how to keep your stamina and etc attracts me alot. Not that Messi is overrated but nor underrated.

He still didn't convince me alot as media and people do really praise him.

and very scary..
Toni to Milan scary??? no not really. Their tactics and formation is the problem, not who's going to partner Gila. There's no charisma and style in Milan's play.

It's a matter of a system more IMO.
