I have nothing against the team, but I dislike the image the club has as this ideological victim and the whole 'mas que un club' bs. Equally so, the fans are enthralled by this and tend to come off as if they support some kind of humanitarian movement that deserves credit. The political side of it is annoying. Bleh.
Spot on, Marts. This is what I meant by them claiming bein a club for the people.

The club is very honorable, and they play the best true football around.
What do you mean by honorable?

By the way, Juve's football with Capello is something I like more than their so called "true" football. But this is a matter of taste, so there is no need to continue here.

Actually not so much the fans that are Catalans themselves, more the fans from all corners of the world who find this 'ideology' very attractive as something to be part of.

Jews? I never knew anything about being Jews and I don't dislike Jews for the matter. I just don't like Carles 'ugly chin' Puyol, I dispise Rona 'ugly teeth - ballet dancer' ldinho, the aura about Messi being the next big thing, the overrated coach that won the CL last year in the most controversial manner, their fans that are more arrogant than Mourinho can ever wish for, the fact that they claim to be a club for the people and above all Thuram.

Okay but other than looks, why do you hate a born and raised Catalan in Puyol, Ronnie, and Messi is just good, he is not cocky and douche-like. I don't think Rijkaard is more arrogant that Mourinho, at least Rijkaard wants to shake hands after a match.

How was the CL win controvercial?? Eboue DOVE to get a goal......

And above all, I have respect for them for not selling out to ever get a jersey sponsor. Something JUVE does all the time.....

Does Tamoil have questionable dealings with possible terrorist dealings???

UMMMMMMM......yea.

Ohh, and I thought you would get the Jew thing as a joke.

Ahhhh, there we go, now THAT I agree with.

The same is true with Madrid fans and Inter and Milan fans....I have not met a nose-in-the-air Juve fan though, and that is true.

It is not the looks that make me dislike the players, it is them. Messi might be a good player but when you hear Barca fans speak of him, it is like Jesus Christ is back on earth.

I didn't mention anything about Rijkaard's arrogance, I just said he's overrated. Which he is. He's only good at man-management, tactics is not something that he's ever heard of.

Yes, Mourinho is an arrogant prick, but I like that in him. I hope he keeps this attitude towards the press and his opponents all the time.

The controversial win was the red card Chelsea took at Stamford Bridge (1) then the Sheva goal that was disallowed (2) without this they wouldn't have reached an Eboue dive. But then again you hatred towards English teams and Milan makes you not see that.

And if you want to include Juventus in the discussion, I totally agree with the issue you said, I also don't want Tamoil to sponsor my team.

Sorry about the Jew joke, I didn't get it :)

But it is destructive to the beautiful game.....

It is causing what kids do in the parking lots and parks to become too commercialized.
But it not only Chelsea that is commercializing football, man.

UEFA above is all is doing what should be done in that aspect. Then comes our beloved clubs that are in G-14, then comes any club that is dominating where they play by extra financing. So, if someone bought a team and commercialized it to be on par of other teams, the blame is not on this man and his club, it is on the reasons that made this man do what he did.

Anybody who says Barca won the Champions League in a controversial way is trying to take away from their acheivement. As Burke stated Eboue took a dive to set up a goal, so what on earth is the problem. Two inccorect decisive calls that benefitted both sides, so they cancel each other out. Barcelona won fair and sqaure and were the best team in the world last season... end of. You don't win La Liga and Europe without effort nowadays.

You also talk about the final game and close an eye on the quarter final and semi final.

Doesn't really matter to me... they were clearly better than both Chelsea and Milan, so to me they deserved the win. Milan benefitted from nonsense in the matches against Lyon yet nobody brings those faults up... everybody is subject to favorable and non-favorable calls so all this discussion of events so far in the past is irrelevent to me.

I think you should be super +repped for that response, because I think we just agreed, here let me bold and correct....

1: Okay, how can you blame messi for that???
2: Agree
3: I think his being an ass is pretty cool, it is like a "Fuck Y'all" schoolboy persona, and I like it a lot, but it can get old and vexing.
4: Ohh, yea, I hate English teams, and I agree about that biasedness.
5: No, I like Milan, I love a lot of the players, Pirlo, Seedorf, but I hate some fans like Nick, not Nick himself, who think Milan are God's gift to football.
6: I'm surprised, good shit though.

It is irrelevant to you yet you have to comment about it. Milan were favoured againt Lyon but Barcelona were favoured against Chelsea AND Milan.

Respect :)

I don't blame Messi, it is just the fans that make me don't want to hear more about him nor even see him play.

ANd why would you be surprised on my stand on Tamoil? If you are surprised about that, then you don't know me well.
