Maybe not attractive to some, but it is indeed the kind of football I like. And it is good football.

Do you think Barcelona play wonderful football? Personally, I don't.
it was good but not wonderful. Do u think good football is worthy of being world champion?

Barcelona dont play wonderfully as a team tho individually yes!
The football i love to watch at the moment is Arsenal in full flight in my opinion is wonderful football!

Who defines good, wonderful, bad, boring and others? It is all up tp the person.

Italy played efficient, smart and highly tactical football. Is this worthy of being world champion? I say yes, because that was the point of their game.

football side of things minus everything else italy where not the best!

Italy played efficient, smart and highly tactical football thats the exact reason why they are won, plus some good luck along the way of course! Lippi managed the players better than many others before him!

P.S- i like italy i always went for italy after australia of course :D

i wouldnt say argentina where the best againest Serbia was beautiful tho they where playing a team that didnt run, i would say france as wen the game was always on the line in all there games they where always prepared to take the risk and take it to the opponent! Sure i hate France :Dbut they won my respect they beat top teams not through tactics or penalties not even through lucky penalties or anything just by playing football that was too much for there opponent to handle after the group stage of course!:D

I remember a period where many wanted Lippi's head in his first few matches as coach. And then it went from wanting his head for incompetence to wanting his head over calciopoli. And all the incessant, hyperactive coaching diddlers looked like complete fools in the end. And believe me, as much as I like Lippi, he was hardly Italy's coaching messiah as some have since made him out to be. (By rights, the team won the final in spite of him.)

The Inter comment is a reference to people with too short an attention span and too low a commitment level to let a program gel over time instead of looking for quick, flashy fixes overnight. Because Inter is loaded with a history of proof of how seeking the quick fix gets you nowhere but the laughingstock of Europe. Inter wouldn't bring in Donadoni -- no, they'd bring in Capello, fire him after a few months, and replace him with another fool with an expensive pedigree. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. This is football afterall, where in the end coaches really don't matter all that much.

I don't think Donadoni is that great a coach. But he's not that bad either. And Italy isn't as good a team as their WC trophy might lead some to believe. (This is a team that drew to 9-man USA and almost blew it against Australia, afterall.) But that is probably to be expected of every great football nation: anytime you lose points, its a crisis.

But the reality for many fans of the Italy NT is unfortunately this: without a calciopoli scandal to motivate players, etc., it's going to be a long many years of Totti spitting ejections and mediocre play that will make everyone want to behead whatever coach X is in there until they win their next major tournament.

Snoop, make the odds and I'll put all my vCash on it. In the meantime, I suggest a great many of you start upping your anti-depressant medication regimens now, because it's going to be a long road unless you can graduate from denial to acceptance on this one.

France some wonderful games especially the games against Brazil and Spain(where they were lucky as their first goal was from a clear dive by Henry). They didnt impress in the Semis but they were the better side in the final.

One part of the game is beating the team against you tactically. And italy did that against teams like Germany and even in the Final.

You wont forget that penalty against the Socceroos , same goes for many ppl in here. But the fact is it was another tactical victory for Lippi.

p.s am watching the Melboure Victory now, beating the Newcastle Jets :D GO VICTORY
