If I were you, Nick, I would really be questioning that Milan defense. I seriously doubt Bonera will provide what it takes for your backline to be secure and to give good old Paolo's legs enough of a breather. And if Nesta continues to have injury problems, which always seems to be the case nowadays, you will indeed be in trouble.

And another point... good thing you still employ Ambrosini.

Which is why my above stated "I have my doubts"...obviously Gourcuff and Oliviera were not the big names the johnny come lately fans wanted: people seemed to think that the has been Ronaldo would be the answer to our problems...people didn't realize that the SHEVA era was over ..too bad but thats the reality of it..instead of REPLACING HIM (which is impossible because he was so dynamic with us) they re arranged the working of the team..Kaka - Pirlo is the new 'engine'...Seedorf another pillar and Gourcuff and Oliviera underrated talent. Bonera will not answer our problems but WILL HELP. I expect some big acquisitions when they become available in defense or shuffling things around enough to put in a strong DM (Gattuso...Ambrosini) that can take some of the weak points off.
We shall see...but phew thank GOd we are not Inter

Sure Capello's CL record has been poor, but let's be honest - Real Madrid has stunk up the CL the last few years, so we can hardly put this all on Don Fabio.

Don't hate the man, thank him. Capello walked out on Juve (Thank you!!) at a time when the new directors were begging him to stay (what were they thinking?). If it wasn't for Fabio being da man, we still be saddled with ass . . . and paying his huge wage bill.

I don't see the point in thanking him when we can piss on his grave... and by pissing on his grave I mean pissing on his literal grave because I simply can't stand him.

We'll see if Bonera will help. All I remember from his career thus far is him hitting the bar of his own goal and actually scoring on it on another occasion. So good luck with that guy.

although the defense is still not solid, but i think thats due to the constant changing of the backline. Also maldini is not in full flow yet. So for the moment ur team is alrite.

congrats on the win...and if Olivera&gourcuff keep playing like they r.Then who the hell is Sheva again ?:D

at least now we have a coach who will be willing to attack. to give a trident attack a chance, to play players who are in form and to play teh sort of football we all longed for while teh "don" was in charge

Don't laugh, but here in Shitsville that is a real crime.

Any person who knowingly inserts his privy member into the inflation valve of any football is guilty of the Crime Against Football.

    haha.
It seems Capello has one admirer: RSC Anderlecht coach Franky Vercauteren.

While his side was leading 1-0 and controlling the midfield, the coach decided to sub controlling midfield Biglia by the big Hungarian defender Juhasz. Consequence? Anderlecht dropped its level and hoped to hold the 1-0 for 30 minutes...
Lille didn't ask for so much and the match ended with a predictible 1-1.

I'm sick of these shitpants coaches. I'm not asking for gung-ho football, but ffs stop crawling back when you lead 1-0!!!
