It doesnt affect me ?... How exactly, it affects my relatives who live in your country, it affects my bills as i own a house in your country but above all it is a bill that has affected me directly for years as it is a bill that every civilised democracy on the planet employs...

The problem with the SS system is that everyone thinks its a bank account when it is really implemented as a tax-and-reallocate system. It would be an entirely hand-to-mouth system if not for some folks who thought to accumulate funds for all the aging baby boomers.
There were the missiles after the embassy bombings in Africa, but that was completely weak.
Still -- you do realize that the point of all these attacks was a strategy by Al Qaeda to goad the U.S. to deploy tons of troops in Afghanistan and the Middle East as a counterattack. Basically to force the issue of choosing sides with the Saudi Arabian leadership, etc.
Not saying that not retaliating was the right answer in those cases. But it's the answer the terrorists wanted from us all along.
Ahhh, that was George Bush Sr., actually. Check your facts. It was his last presidential feel-good hurrah before leaving office (only a month prior!), to prove that his administration wasn't the big bad meanie in the world and that we could do good for others (and by comparison to his son's administration, he was right):

I ran off the road on Saturday night. It was the first time I had driven in the area. You would think they would put up a sign BEFORE you reach the point that the lane is merging into two lanes and not at the merge point itself.

If you want to blame past presidents for our present and future problems you really need not look at Clinton. The attacks you've just stated were obviously not his fault, but the result of shotty foriegn policies of prior Cold War administrations. Who gave training and weapons directly and indirectly to groups that fought the Soviets. Those administrations were responsible for the empowerment of Al-Qeada, the Taliban and Sadam, which inturn lead to the attacks of American holdings throughout the world and eventually on American soil. By your shit runs downhill philosophy, the man who came before you is resposible for the pile of shit you sit in. If you want to point fingers, then fine I can do that as well. Firstly I would like to give a shout out to Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and for laughs Dick Nixon. But mostly Reagan, who had a share in the destabilization of a region that really wasn't very stable to begin with. From the Iran bullshit to Iraq and Afganistan the US fed weapons and training into the enemies of our enemies who turned out not to be our friends. And all these guerilla tactics the terrorists have employed, you know the ability to mold into a society for years and the go BOOM. Well thats kind of our fault too really, more so the CIA's. Which brings me to my next finger point. George H. W. Bush. VP to Nixon and CIA head for 355 days under Ford. He was around when it all started. Iran-Contra, Afganistan, Iraq 1, Nicaragua you name. Do you not realize that your president's massive spending has driven this country so deep into debt that the coming inflation and subsequent collapse of our economy will probably have you, the Viman, in the welfare line with your imagined illegal immigrants.
Look, I know thousands (literally) of illegal immigrants. Every one of them has a job. Every one of them pays into social security every pay period. 95% of them will never draw a penny of social security benefits. This is a fact.
I also know groups of citizens that have been in the U.S. for 200 years and are 6th generation unemployed, while my brothers from Mexico and Central America were wading across the Rio Grande only last Tuesday and already have jobs.
The Iraq war alone has not only cost so many unnecessary lives and bad will from the rest of the world (and blocking our ability to get international anti-terrorist cooperation), but it's so far cost every man, woman, and child in this country $1,500 apiece. Tax cut nothing.
And the great irony is that by grossly inflating the U.S. debt to record levels and essentially pushing our nation's credit rating closer to junk bond status, the U.S. dollar has plummeted in market value on the world market as a greater risk. And thus, Bush has essentially aided the terrorists by ensuring that their foreign funding sources go further against the declining U.S. dollar. :doh:
As for immigration reform, that's just a smokescreen for the real problems in this country.
