Nick, thats some funny shit that you posted !!

I needed a good laugh after today...seeing our "manager" bow down and kiss the ring of godfather Don Guido Rossi

Hopefully, someone whacks the godfather "Paul Castellano style", outside his favorite steakhouse in Milano

They're obviously not to be underestimated, though I must say that mostly goes for Pienaar. Van der Vaart can be an alright player at times, but he wouldn't cut it at Barcelona for example.

In other news:

Koeman: "Charisteas is not a typical Ajax player"

"I understand a number of people are disappointed in our choice, but how would they have reacted if we hadn't bought a forward at all?", Erwin Koeman, trainer at Feyenoord, tried to ease tensions among the club's supporters today after Feyenoord chose to buy Angelos Charisteas from... Ajax.

"After Dirk Kuyt left, we checked a number of players including Carew, Cruz and Pizarro. One wanted to stay at his club, one wanted to play Champions League football and another was too expensive for us. We had to be realistic"

But purchasing a player from arch-rivals Ajax is a bridge too far for many supporters. Remarkably Feyenoord doesn't name Ajax at all in the article on their website regarding the transfer of Charisteas and the piece features a picture of the Greek in his national team's shirt.

In the meantime, Koeman is trying to calm people down by claiming "He is not a typical Ajax player. He came to Ajax when my brother Ronald was still coach there and played four games before Ronald left. If Charisteas had know that he never would have gone to Ajax in the first place. It's important we look at it that way"

PLAYERS THAT WENT FROM AJAX TO FEYENOORD OVER THE YEARS:

Eddy Pieters Graafland 1958
Henk Groot 1963
Theo van Duivenbode 1969
René Notten 1977
Johan Cruijff 1983
Arnold Scholten 1989
John van Loen 1992
Angelos Charisteas 2006

:lol2: That's gold, Jerry!

I still haven't figured out the name of the stereotype Italian, you know him?
I think it's Paro you're talking about.

He's got the best first name ever as well by the way: Matteo.
