I didn't see England-Portugal, but I understand Rooney kicked Ricardo Carvalho in the balls. Ronaldo asked for an absolutely deserved red card and now Ronaldo is criticised everywhere in England?

I was under the impression Ronaldo was criticised for asking for a red card, winking at his coach and giving Rooney a gloating smile after the latter had received his red card.

I can't say there is ANYTHING wrong with that. Rooney kicks someone in the nuts, Ronaldo is trying to get him a card because that's quite obviously in the advantage of his team and everyone is raging mad. Besides, what if they're not close friends?

Nick, what do you think of Calderon's claims that Kaka will be playing for Real Madrid next season? Is Milan raking in the dough for a massive rebuilding or what?

I don't buy it..even though Calderon is adamant about it. The only way it can happen is if Milan is relegated...then it probably would. However, this is unlikely to happen since Milan have been extending contracts and locking in Juve players such as Buffon...no way Gigi would leave Juve to go to another team facing relegation.
Kaka-Pirlo-Gilardino are the future of this team and there is no way a gem like Kaka will be sold..what would be the point?? Sheva and Kaka were a rare breed in Serie A..foreign players who adapted to the system from day ONE.

I do see some loose baggage being disposed of but nothing major.
