Go forca yourself, Dirk Kuyt.

Bozi, during the game I echoed your learned words when I told my nephew that Holland needs to bring on RVN. "He might be a diving, cheating, dirty bastard, but he can score goals". I did not really cared which team one, as I figured both could beat England -- but 4 red cards burns my ass.

sitting watching the game you just knew when the ref pulled out the first yellow that he was gonna lose control of the match. it was not as bad a game as many people thought abd when you consider there was 20 cards dished out, yet only 24 fouls. a stronger ref would have controlled the two teams better

as for kuyt, i think he is a decent player but he was having no impact at all, while i cannot stand ruud, he is a pure goalscorer, plain and simple.
pado i salute you, you seen it the same way

Yea, but since when does that mean anything?

I could play 5 years pro in MLS and in the Serie A, but that doesn't mean i know how to say "De Cock" correctly does it?

basically, just because you played for a little while, that does not mean that you know anything about the game.

The pronunciation deficiency and general lack of knowledge about the European game and players by supposed ESPN experts is just simply appalling. The problem just begins with some creating new players called Gilardinho or "Tote-tee," as few really do not have a clue of how exactly some of these professionals play.

At least Balboa did not jump on the Beckham bandwagon and actually stated the guy is only out on the pitch for free kicks and nothing else. I suppose that saves him somewhat, but he's still a mediocre and biased commentator. His performance during the Champions League Final was horrendous.

the difference between the English announcers I get on the Canadian networks and the ESPN/ABC announcers is the difference between night and day

its no wonder Americans arent getting more interested in the WC and CL with clowns like these commentating...I have a hard time myself !!!

I cant believe ESPN and ABC dont even have the decency to show the national anthems of both teams before kickoff...they just play commercials instead
