I think he was even, and therefore onside. I also think the referrees were instructed to allow play to flow and not to repeatedly interrupt with calling meaningless fouls.
It was a close call, I am not complaining. I really liked the referees decisions, the game all in all was very good.

Yes it was a beautiful match, even if Germany completely dominated for long stretches which frustrated me. The referee was top shelf. I wish Serie A flowed like that.

Primavera Champions!

Juve´s Primavera squad are champions of Italy. Scenes of joyous celebration greeted the final whistle as the bianconeri ended a magnificent season in triumph, beating Fiorentina by 2-0 thanks to goals from Criscito (7´) and Paolucci (37´). The win secures the Primavera championship for Juventus for the first time since 1994 and the squad were congratulated on their success by the new Director of Sporting Affairs, Alessio Secco.

Where is Nick?

Ponyboy: Nature's first green is gold / her hardest hue to hold / her early leaves a flower / but only so an hour / then leaf sudsides to leaf / so Eden sank to grief / so dawn goes down to day / nothing gold can stay.

Johnny: Stay gold, Ponyboy. Stay gold.

Its Germany's fault for trying to trap a player of Wanchope's caliber. Costa Rica may stink but Paulo is true class. He will help the US and Mexico teach Europe how to spell CONCACAF.:D

juve has such a strong primavera team, but I have not seen any of them in the first team for years.. this is sad, may be in the post-moggi time, we will have more young players.

Forza Juve Primavera! In a few months, they may well be our starting line-up.

Burke, I hope you watched the match on Univision. Pablo Ramirez was going off on his usual jazz riffs on Schweinsteiger's name ... he had me in tears at times from laughing so hard. :touched:

yeah Alessio Secco stated that some of these guys will make it into the first squad next year. Criscito already trained with the big guys, but in SerieB we will be able to play these talented young lads.

Funny, I'm starting to see SerieB as an exciting challenge... Always look at the bright side of life.

In the spirit of the experimental sound band from the Bay Area, Negativland, and perhaps the most famous mash-up long before there was a Danger Mouse (a 1991 mash of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" and Casey Kasem clips titled "The Letter U and the Numeral 2", which landed them in hot water with U2's legal counsel)...

Burke, I offer you my lazy mash up of Pablo Ramirez on Schweinsteiger:

    http://rapidshare.de/files/22679517/Pablo_Ramirez_-_Schweinsteiger.mp3.html

There's something about Spanish-speaking announcers over-annuciating German that cracks me up. And Pablo is one of the best...

Oh so true.i mean if we gave 10 youngsters a chance surely 3/10 should be able to make it big.Juve can't allow the squad to age visibly like Real.
