When we had breakfast with Lippi in the morning, Cassano was the only name he refused to say anything about, he grinned when I asked him though.

Can't recall that. I do remember him joking about leaving Tott at home though. He felt it would be rather funny as the Romanista busted his ass off in order to be able to play at the WC.

You were in the toilet when I asked him. Actually leaving Totti out is simply because he's not a GEA :D

so i believe i am going to see you in the Azurri's jersey in Germany?
As big as the temptation might have been, I actually want Italy to win it, so I couldn't select myself just yet.

Scenario's were laid out today by officials ... interesting scenario's(http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/SerieA/Primo_Piano/2006/05_Maggio/15/scudetto_punto.shtml)

    rough translation

The most minimal sanction for Juve is relegation that is to say finish in LAST PLACE and go to B thus being stripped of the scudetto. However, Genoa for fixing ONE match was sent all the way down and given a -3 in the next season. Juve could be handed two relegations (Serie C1 or C2) since for the moment 7 to 15 games are under investigation.

Who would the scudetto or scudetti's go to?? Naturally Milan in second place but if something comes out of their involvement then Inter....only once in 1927 was the scudetto stripped from a team and not re-assigned...to Torino. Most likely it will be re-assigned.

What do the other teams risk?
Lazio and Fiorentina much less when compared to Juve .. only the Presidents are involved and with Milan even less since only one name is involved: Meani who is the team liason with the league officials (every team has an individual who is liason with the officials: travelling, etc.). Meani's comments are vague and at this point do not implicate anyone more than Meani ...

    Champions League?
Should Juve be punished forget about Europe. Uefa has been impatient these days because they want to move swiftly .. even minimal findings could mean sanctions in Europe.
If the rest are involved and charged based on the evidence then Juve would be relegated (no Champions) Lazio Fiorentina as well (Fiorentina no Champions) Milan would be sanctioned but not relegated based on the evidence but no Champions.
Spots would go to Inter, Roma, Chievo and Palermo.
